| Freedom Unite is the newest version released in English. It is the same game as 2nd G as well. Portable 3rd is still under development for release in Japan so you may have a bit of a wait. | |

Yup, Ive found them new online. Otherwise its always in EB gAmes or gamestop and they are used. Hard as heck to find in a store brand new. Though im still trying to convince my wife to let me get a PSP just so i can play MHFU.

You will lose half your life though. Also, you will start seeing monsters in the real world that you would love to try and hunt in the game. oh, and might try to make up your own armor and weapons too. It's a disease your bound to enjoy.

| I'm thinking of getting Freedom Unite because of all the monsters and gear. But not until around March when I have enough money for a PSP. And Summer will be when Portable Third should come out here in the U.S. so I will have a PSP by then for that. But Freedom Unite shall be to hold me over.
Just curious...is here an online server like there is with Tri? I've been reading that people are still able to play Freedom Unite online with other people by downloading software.

There is no online server, but if you get Wifi Link/Wifi Max, xlink kai and connect your PSP to Wifi Link/Max, you can play online. xlink kai tricks system link/ad-hoc into thinking it's online. So, yes, you can but there are no online servers that Capcom themselves made.
