Akantor goes FUUUUUUUU

I want to beat this thing... I'm just curious at what point he first goes into rage mode. Is it a set amount of hp? I just wanna know where i am in regards to the battle.

Sorry I cant answer your question but if you have problems with beating him up with hammer try a lance. I usually only use GS but I killed him with lance at the first try (he was one of the first monsters I fought against with lance). just stay beneath him, keep doing the upswing attack and whenever he gets on two legs block. if you keep doing that you should even manage to cut off his tail

I'll try that if i lose. Narga stuff is rather easy to make at this point, narga isn't a problem at all (compared to other monsters of this rank...), and to bypass those dang brainstems all i have to do is fight a couple low rank tiggys. Managed to kill one in under 10 minutes last time haha, TDS ftw.

He goes into rage mode... a lot?
Yeah i tried answering the question, but he enters rage mode like most other monsters do; once you've took out enough HP. He enters rage mode for like a good couple minutes thats all.

A lot of people recommend using a hammer or lance for Akantor so i'm sure you'll fare well.
