Slaying Quest : Hunterdrome

First topic message reminder :

So, I was doing jhen today with some randies, (u gotta love dem randies) and during the final showdown , I got a bit bored, (being a gunner and all) so I start dropping LBB+'s by one of the other people who was a gunner, and every time she would stand up, I detonated a bomb in her face, and I thought it was funny since I was just horsing around, but apparently I forgot to watch her life, thats when it happened.

I was like oh shit.... I'm so sorry I wasn't watching your health, I'll make it up to you!! /scar/

but then.

"Mai Mai exited the game"

NUUUUU

"Mai Mai left the city"

What have I done /versad/


so basically, have you guys ever killed another hunter? why did you kill them? just for lulz? or a total accident caused by an ill-timed upswing?
and what was their reaction?

Ontopic: The only time i do it intentionally is when people are being offensive without reason. Unintentionally, a lot more, especially with Hammer superpound underwater.

Also, i watched a vid about some guys that used a bowgun during jhen fight. Apparently, you can hit guys climbing back on, making them start over again :hicc:

I had that happen... I was the host of the city too on snow when I was grinding her I was furious...

This guy was poisoned and typing in all caps GIVE ME AN ANTIDOTE, SOMEONE USE A LIFEPOWDER or GIVE ME A POTION. So were in area 8 of Deserted Island (ian quest) and this guy is standing near the edge and he has only a small sliver of health left, so he's about to heal so you want to know what I did? i upswung him off of the cliff, I think he died in mid air too

lol, nice, I love how when someone is flying through the air, the already-broken laws of physics are broken even further when they suddenly come to a halt in mid-air, do the faint animation, then drop like a sack of potatoes.

offtopic: although some physics are still taken into consideration, for example, If I save a coordinate for my teleporter that is mid-air, and repeatedly teleport to that spot without ever hitting the ground, I continue to pick up momentum, which I thought was pretty neat.

No he was still alive mid air I have been pulled back from death a few times with a life powder while I was in the air without health.

if they really get on my nerve ill pull the trigger on em....^^

I usually only do it to mess around, mostly with friends. One common thing i do is when someone is low on health, i rapid fire them so they can't sheath and run, and then the monster charges at them and they die lol.

Once, on accident, this person got poisoned by ian, and i didn't realize i kept hitting them by spirit blading the LS, and it kept stopping them from healing, so they died.

I made a bomb house last time I played with him.

If I'm trying to Hammer the face & you keep trying to Spirit Combo the head (hitting me repeatidly in the process) or peppering me with Bowgun Pellet Shots... When the tail/claws/wings/whatever isn't broken or cut off yet:
You're dam right I'm gonna upswing or super pound you into the monster's next attack.

I can understand a few accidents here & there (like a Clust Shot went a little too far & blasted me across the room), no problem. But if you're hitting ME more then the Monster, I'm targeting YOU.

It's stupid how you need 10 hunter plates and a huntress diamond to make the disruptive axe and longsword.

Nope, just another Hunter Plate...

It's stupid how you need 10 hunter plates and a huntress diamond to make the disruptive axe and longsword.

Don't forget dat hunter huntergem. It has final upgrade to auto-disrupt axe/lance/LS/etc. It is so disruptive, that even if you aren't near the weapon you still go flying and trip!

You didn't count on my experience with trolls though

I overforged my hunter hunter armor, and I have the fully uprgraded gs, LS and hammer...
These are why I've managed to gem in

Disrupter +1
Spam +1
Superpound Distance Up

I got really lucky with some of the drops, you can farm urgents and the mini ura quest for parts if you need to

Nice skills too bad I am immune to those skills I gained immunity through my best friend that used to purposely hunt other hunters/huntresses

So these guys i was hunting with decided to lay a bunch of bombs in front of a doorway and wen i came out one threw a stone /no/ . I respawned and noticed on my map that he stayed there. I figured he was setting more bombs so i used a shortcut and came behind him (he was not watching his map apperently) and upswang him into his own bombs and killed him :hicc: he got so pissed that he left. I lold.

Exactly. Next time u should have ups winged him set bombs, and then detonated XD
