| I have noticed that there are few and far between positive comments/stories concerning hunting with those whom we are personally unfamiliar. Some call them randoms, others randies, and still others call them things not to be repeated here. Nevertheless I propose this topic as a counterpoint to those negative posts and offer it to have a place where positive experiences can be shared. For every negative experience I have had hunting with randies I have had two positive hunts and hope this will be a topic others will consider posting in when they have hunted with someone who did particularly well. This topic will be three-fold in its purpose: To recommend others to hunt with, to offer praise to those rightly deserving, and to balance the negativity aimed at randies/stopping this forum from appearing to be a slightly nicer gamefaqs.
As far as protocol is concerned;
Always be mindful of the rules that are already in place for the forums. Do your best to remember/include their name. Recount the hunt or action that the randie was so deserving of a complement. DO NOT use this topic as an opportunity to rant/troll/flame/complaint. There are topics just for this purpose.
With that said allow me to start us off by handing out the following awards.
Recipiant: xhammerx, HR 52 Award: For outstanding usage of the sword and shield Reason: During the 4* double trouble quest of which we were the only two participants, xhammerx paralyzed both Raths 2x, dizzied them both 2x, and cut both tails.
Recipiant: Etap, HR 50 Award: For exemplary use of lance and traps Reason: The hunter was not seen below half health during any of the dozen hunts in which they participated in and never in need of a potion despite battling two large monsters simultaneously at times. The hunter was consistent in their ability to break parts, cut tails, and average two paralyses with their lance per monster, per hunt.
The above examples are just that, examples. If you wish to be a little less formal do so but have the goal of a clear and concise recommendation/compliment. Cheers and happy hunting.

| Can't remember their name - added them as a friend so I can add later It was against Jho/Rathalos and Barioths we played for about 2 hours straight They were on top of everything, healing, bombing, statusing, trapping everything. Super polite and funny to play, up for a laugh and really helped me out! Plus they were brilliant with Lance and Hammer. They had good armour sets for both. Generally a great player to hang around with. Then there's Mustafa - Generally a legend of monster hunter. We play weekly together and he's awesome! brilliant player and really helpful and fun! Was a random but we've become friends now! | |

| Both of these recipients didn't know each other, but all 3 of us were in the same city after I asked at the Gate if anyone wanted to hunt high rank. I didn't know either of them, but now all of us are friends.
Recipient: Liliveth, HR ? (100+ I think) Award: For superior general knowledge and gameplay Reason: Liliveth was always specially prepared equipment- and item-wise for every specific monster we hunted (mainly using hammer). She was always kind and gave everyone else pointers when they needed help. Generally a very nice person, and also a skilled one.
Recipient: Raven, HR 33 Award: For surprising skill with the longsword against heavy opposition Reason: This girl was wearing low-rank Rathalos armor and a Thunderclap+ vs Deviljho in the Speak of the Deviljho quest. She came prepared with Mega Armorskin and Dragonfell Berries to combat Jho's insane damage, but only got hit a couple of times. She was surprisingly one of the highest damage-dealers in the group. (Of course, our 4th member triple-carted, but whatever. We got the tail.)

| Played with a hunter named icaro. (HR 800 or so) We were speedrunning world eater jho, made him my friend bacause he was cool. After jho disappeared, we still did lots of stuff together. He helped my with everything I did. He'd always break both horns on ala and we would kill it in under 10 minutes. He'd ALWAYS help me farm anything I needed too. Best randie I ever met with! | |

| A very, VERY long time ago, two hunters (on separate occasions) were really kind to me in my noob days and took me though the entirety of the 3* quests while telling me some of the intricacies of the game. Both were skilled, polite, and pretty damn good at the game.
Both sessions were unfortunately interrupted by RL activities such as fewd tyme... D: Still, puts the faith in humanity back in 'ya.

| Ima name the ones I remember, all of them showed a nice knowledge of the game mechanics and they were really nice, but considering that most of them used to play like 2 years ago, you all probably won't be able to play with them: mon, Indekus, Satan666, Kain, Agartha, 007, Thor, cristian, Virus, DEATH . These are pretty much all the good randies I can remember :\ | |

| Kawai: Hr 200 or something award: for outstanding gunning--best gunner I've ever seen Reason: We did a round of ala quests together. Stayman was there as well, and also another randie. With her switching between status, healing, and clusting we demolished ala. It went like this: para, clust, sleep, bombs, clust. and repeat. We actually broke the horns, the wings and I got the tail. Best gunner ever.

I restarted a character months back, played with a group of friends starting from HR 1. No offline whatsoever. We got to HR 51 in 6-7 days and I had to manage school in-between. Considering the game came out in June 2010. Presumably Summer for the guy, my best guess is that he's played MHFU and knew the mechanics before Tri and played everyday for a week. :D

| Name: melcom x
Award: Biggest dedication to Monster Hunter I've ever seen.
Reason: I was with my new character and he joined the city to help us out. I was like HR 5 and he was either HR 100-something or 200-something. I don't like high rank people with end-game weapons helping out because it makes the game too easy, but I let him stay. He added me to his friends list. I didn't hunt with him from then on. Checked his profile a few months later. HR 999.

| Name: Nevertheless Award: Soloed ala first and was the first to complete ala urgent quest. Reason: He was the first hr 51 and everyone else didn't reach the urgent quest yet. He said he played 24/7 for about 4-5 days. He would pee in a bottle and have food delivered to him by servants (while playing). He was clearly a good player and he soloed ala with a hammer. Never_the_less, I don't see him anymore.;) I know him in real life, but then he moved to a different location. | |

| Name: Belial Award: Team Player - King Hunter Reason: About a month ago. Saw a room with one person. Walked in and saw him. We did some HR quests and he was just amazing on this show of skill he was showing. I was normally wanting to hunt Jho, which normally was just him and me. We kept killing them and he made Jho look and seem so EASY. He broke the face and cut the tail and just wow. All the time i hunted with him, he's never fainted once.
And one time, when i was close to dying. If i remember, he hit the Jho and made it stop and come after him and then took a lifepowder, giving me health. I said Thanks and he said and quote, "I got your back..."

| I met two randoms a while back and they were just awesome.
Went by the names Sync and DJ.
We played for two days straight, before I went on hiatus, but suffice to say, they're the reason I even got up past HR40. And before we all left on a break from MH, Sync gave me over 100+ Mega Potions, and supplies and what not. Gave me some advice and all that.
Sync and I also got a little inside joke going about a Gobul, which was pretty hilarious. They also helped me get an ample amount of Dragonbone relics by glitching me out in the Tundra. Fun stuff, really.
