Buy a WiiU and Take your TRI data With You!!!

So, you may not be able to transfer your Tri data from Wii to Wii but how about Transfering it from your old worn out Wii to your NEW BRIGHT AND SHINY WIIU?

Yup, looks like you may be able to transfer all your Wii data to the WiiU to include Monster Hunter TRI..... Though the details are not clear and it may be just WiiU to WiiU there is a chance they may make it available to transfer over you Wii stuff to the WiiU..... But we will see.

I hope this means we can also transfer virtual console data. It would suck to have to buy all those games again considering I've already paid for some of them three times or more. Example being, I bought Sonic the hedgehog when it came out on the Sega Genesis, than again as a compilation for PlayStation, and finally on Virtual Consul. It sucks having to pay for the same game so many times. I guess this isn't about MH, I'm just sort of ranting. /mad/

Sucks huh. One of my friends is at E3 right now, I asked him to talk to the Capcom guys and see what is up with that. I'm hoping we may still get MH4 localized. Hopefully I'll have news one way or other other before E3 is over.

Did you read the article? All it says is that you can transfer all of your files (nothing said about mh specifically) to your wiiu. Basically, you don't lose anything, likely including stuff bought in the wiishop and so (i think).

It's not about MH, it's just about the wii in general.

You mentioned trolling. I simply said that nobody EVER mentioned MH in the article. There's no connection. It's just a service offered by NINTENDO. CAPCOM not releasing MH's never crossed their mind when they made this decision.

I can't believe you couldn't do this...my old Wii died so I bought a new one. Got an SD card to transfer the data but nope...didn't happen. In fact...I couldn't do this with any game. Next Gen my ass...I miss my memory cards.

Yeah that's what sony failed to do for the Vita. Since i don't have a working psp, i had to rebuy MHFU for the vita, off of the playstation store. Even though it was $20, that was still BS. The only brightside to it, was that i could transfer my gamesave from my psp memory stick.
