Let me assure you, Mario Kart stages aren't going anywhere. F-Zero, maybe, but not Mario.

Anyway, I don't know. I don't like it when games move to different creators after so long. At least Sakurai will be there.

It's not developed only by NB. The Original Team is still there, but Namco is just lending their efforts.

I really hope they don't add characters like Devil Jin, or anyone from fighting games for that matter. It'd help ruin what sets SSB apart from the other generic fighting games. I also hope they stick with primarily Nintendo characters, and don't include characters from a series few people will have heard of (in comparison to others, so for example, Megaman/X/Zero to stand for the Megaman franchise, as they are at least recognisable, rather than say, Roll or Rush)

I think with the next game due to Sonys clone of SSB Nintendo will make sure that the characters, environments, and other elements in the games really stand out along with any other new features they add to show what has made Smash Brothers such a hit game all these years.

As far as characters, while they always focus on Nintendo characters as the main ones I do exspect to see Nintendo taking the opertunity to have a few Tales characters thrown into the mix as well and maybe a few other 3rd party ones as well to help show a bit of love.

I also hope they bring back the custom building staged for this one. I loved that feature on the wii.

Well you know what they say, once you go 3rd Party, you never go... (What's another word for back that rhymes with party?)

Anyway, Namco is co-developing with lead members of Tales and Tekken. What the hell do you think's gonna happen?

Devil Jin would probably be the easiest to add. I could do a quick moveset right now, if you want.

Anyway, I don't see how having another fighting game character would ruin SSB's status as a (debatable) fighting game. Akira Yuki and Sarah Bryant are in the new DoA game, and they seem to be making the transition just fine. No reason the most eccentric character from the definitive 3D fighter can't fare well in an eccentric fighting game.

Well if Lloyd gets in, why can't DJ? It would fill in 2 perfectly appropriate guest slots. That'd be like having Marvel vs Ca- you know where I'm going with this.

I support this decision wholeheartedly. At the very least, he needs to make some sort of appearance, be it as a trophy, assist or as a sticker.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is a WiiU launch title. Devil Jin is in that.

It's not out yet. If you noticed, allmost Super Smash Chars are from those with already released games that were iconic and/or popular. :3

Guest chars from SSBB --> Sonic (iconic) and SolidSnake (iconic/popular).

^Both have been on Nintendo Consoles, even more-so the latter.

Tekken 3D Prime? I'd also like to point out, in the TTT2 snippit at E3, we see Heihachi eat a Megamushroom. Obviously some crossover work there.

I think Heihachi as a guest star is more acceptable than Devil Jin/Jin.

Simply due to the fact that Heihachi was a guest on SC2 for Playstation 2. As Link was a guest on SoulCalibur also but for Gamecube. Lloyd Irving was a guest on Soul Calibur Legends on the Wii.

Also because Heihachi is more comedic, therefore fitting the theme of SSB more-so than Jin.

From a character standpoint, maybe so, but Heihachi isn't really SSB material from a gameplay standpoint. None of his moves really stand out, or have much flare to them. Devil Jin flies and shoots lasers out of his eyes. Much more fitting if you ask me.

They cant take out Toon Link!!

anyway, I hope they make it more melee like and i hope they get Falco back to how he was on melee because they ruined him on Brawl.

zelda is a character I want to see because I cant imagine the SS zelda beating the oot one in a fighting game, my guess is they will just change the skin and leave all the attacks like Brawl
