| Who is going to continue playing Monster Hunter Tri 3 after the server is offline permanently? The offline mode can be restarted and the adventure starts all over again. Fighting with iron weapons and bare naked. Redoing quests and trying stupid things; and last of all, seeing the smiles of the villagers. The silent hunters will persist hunting for happy hunting! | |

| Though I plan on getting the WiiU and MHU, I'll most likely mod my wii and search for what I will call "DieHard Servers". There will always be a part of me that will fiend for Tri.
As far as reliving the glory of LR and offline, I have created an alt that I work on a lil here and a lil there for that.

I won't be playing offline MUCH. no new files or some restarting crap. I'll be picking this game up for only 2 reasons: -arena mayhem -Party like a Shaka-laka with Cha-Cha.

(can you get a pinnacle coin on the offline arena?) You can but you only get a chance of getting it if you get S rank i think, whichever is the fastest. And I wont be selling my 1000+ hours of gameplay, I wont play it much, but there may be some times i just wanna kick back, look at stuff with the binoculars, cook a good ole steak, use guan da- never mind.

| There is no ranks in the offline arena, I have never got one pinnacle offline. when I did my guild set I just got 5 pinns online and jumped offline for all the others coins.
speaking of coins, Jho and Agna ones are online exclusive, you may want to get a lot at least just to have some at the end of the game

| 1) you can get them on A rank too. That's where I get alot of mine S rank just usually gives me more of the monsters coins & eggs
2) yes, offline has a Rank system lalols.

| I didn't get tri until last month and i'm already hr 78 with 250+ hours of gameplay.
I have two alts, one just for online practise, one for solely offline.
I'm getting a Wii U for christmas then for my b-day I can get MH3U (My b-day is a month after the game is launched).
But until then, try and reach HR 999 on tri (probably impossible).
That, or I could just get a new PSP with a new charger and start playing Freedom Unite again.

Who will buy it? If anything, you will probably lose money on it with all the fees and everything. But I actually have no idea. I could be completely wrong, maybe someone doesn't even know you can't play online and buys it.

Quite a few people are quite interested in buying older games, including the older MH games. MH1, for example, went offline a long time ago, and several people are still interested in buying it because it's like an older version of a badass game. Sort of the same concept as someone who gets into the newer pokemon games, and wants to see what the old ones were like.

| There are always collectors willing to pay original retail price or more for old games, provided its in good condition with a case/special edition box with all the stuff in it. | |

Any respectable fanbase will have collectables/memorabilia that has a good enough market in which there will be buyers for. It's just a matter of where to look & who you're selling to. but this' kinda easier cause It's a game, a wii game. Even with the Wii U out people are still going to be buying wii games until nintendo completely annexes the wii altogether.
