Pre-orders MHU

First topic message reminder :

So today I went to my local GameStop and they informed me that as of today MHU for the WiiU was now available for preorder at gamestops in the US. Unfortunately the 3DS version was not yet in the system.

I haven't heard of it being available anywhere else yet but I figured "why not start a thread so people can post where it's available for pre-order and what bonuses might be available" (no bonuses have been announced by the way)

he's 18 according to the author area and said he'd like to get it, but cannot.
so it's probably a money issue. /sad/

I'm ok with people who are unable to get MH3U. The discussion was over something different.

It's disappointing though if someone wants the game and can not get it. Oto, if you do want it I hope you can get it later. If there are any promotions be sure that I'll post them. I do know Capcom US is trying to work on some but has been unsuccessful so far.

I just read the news and Capcom US is giving out a controller while GS does not? then well can i go get my refund and preorder from capcom instead or i cannot?

Preorders can be canceled at any time at no lose to you and all your money will/should be returned in the same manner you paid for the preorder in the first place. Until you actually recieve the item there is no commitment to buy.

I wish the excitement for the pre orders at midnight launch would be more epic. With the new Gears of War coming out the same night, lines will be filled with tons of GoW fans, i'm hoping to see a fellow hunter in the line somewhere to pass time xD And with Gamestop not having pre orders available I guess i will just pick up a copy as i get my Wii U copy, not that they will sell out or anything, right? xD

Gamestop does have preorders for MH3U 3DS available now. Pretty sure this was posted somewhere.

Anyways both versions should be available for preorder just about everywhere now.

The one i pre-ordered from will. Idk how midnight launches work, but I spoke to a manager once and he said he does them for almost every game he thought was good, other than the ones that are a must for a midnight launch.

Midnight launches are selective by locations. It realy depends on the games popularity and amount of preorders as well as the date of the release. Some stores regardless of the amount of preorders will never have a midnight release because the locations is not considered a "high priority" others because they are more popular may get few pre-orders but due to the traffic and buyers may hold midnight launches for any high profile game or system.

So you really just have to ask... Or bug your game store until they give in..that sometimes works as wel. ;)

very, you have no idea how much is sucks to have to wait a few hours more for them to open at normal business hours to pick up a game i'd like to play while i'm sleeping. /versad/
