| Well after recently hopping on the servers I met a couple of antsy hunters. They didn't have a soulhunter jacket for some reason so we decided to do a double diablos quest. After setting out I went to take a quick bathroom break so i wuz liek brb i afk! then by the time it took me to take a quick piss I saw the mission failed....... Then i saw their gear. I was amazed at how skillful they are. Be warned pictures are graphic https://2img.net/h/oi47.tinypic.com/mbkcqq.jpghttps://2img.net/h/oi47.tinypic.com/5bnswh.jpgpay attention to the hr, the weap and the skillz | |

| Looks like somebody tried to buff him/herself and ended up failing.
Sadly, this means nothing since even lower ranks can still be that.... "skilled"

(edit: blah blah, I can't post links, bs)
pay attention to the hr, the weap and the skillz After two years and you're still this skillful, you got to be trolling me, man! Your skill is me in retirement. Look at his profile information, "I'm good at... Wanna test my..." Dude, I can't even laugh at this, wtf I'm disappointed. Skill "sneak" with a lance, are you trolling me?!?! That's like a contradiction man, wtf! Please tell me you are trolling...please! There's a fine difference between experience and skill. HR = Experience, nuff said! And NO, I'm not wasting my time making a lance guide. I forgot most of the mechanics, anyways. Wasting that much time for a video game and still don't...omfg forget it. He must be trolling me, that's not even typical armor for lancers. - Dark Soul Slayer wrote:

Wrong, it's not a fail nor an epic fail, it's merely nothing. /no/

| The second guy was at least a bit smarter than the first guy, and at least they know about armor skills, which is more than I can say for the majority of players. | |

Well, it's decent armor for a blade master, but not for a lancer unless he stab-rushes 24/7, which is ridiculous. Mind's eye for lance always cracks me up. Need mind's eye for agnak, omfg, I don't need it. I just need guard+2 or evade+1, that's it for agnak. Guard boost is optional, not needed because you can back hop through laser. Mind's eye really isn't that useful unless you want to spam. The extra damage really isn't that useful unless it's arena. Agnak is usually covered in lava, anyways, it's a very aggressive monster. Also, mind's eye doesn't influence (I think) how your weapon becomes dull, just the "bouncing back" animation part. So if you use mind's eye correctly, you will use more whetstones; thus less time is spent around monster in certain parts of battle. The short term plan is more important than the long term plan. I rather sacrifice mind's eye for attack up or evade+1, different alternatives to deal more damage.

| this is why we need to stop helping people so much, you get people who's HR is way better than it should be
some of the best hunters I've played with were still LR when I met them but cause they could actually work as a team they're fun to hunt with

Even those have like 4-6 skillz that all work well togehther. I don't even like lancing and yet I'm soloing jho's in them >_> those sets are just oooouiuiooijooiighht. (BTW, did we really just now realize that HR means jackchit? this was like news back in september.... of the year Tri was released...)
