| x.x Well I've been distant from MH for awhile. I had did some work on the new titles and when my friend at school told me that the new MH games were coming to the West. I called him a liar. Anyway...As far as I've seen. The original Tri- servers will most likely be shutting down since there will be a new game to go with. With MH3U, what will be the exact differences from the first? I've been gone a bit so i'm trying to catch back up so I can get the money to buy it when it's out. | |

| Lou... To help explain the difference in MHtri and MH3U.... Take everything great in Tri wrap it in bacon put it on both the 3DS and WiiU and double all of it... Graphics, sounds, amount of monsters/armors/weapons and there ya go.
For more details you may just want to look around the forum though.

So now that she's getting a copy to play all you have to do is get your own so you can play with her as well. Make sure you get her to sign onto the forum also. She may teach us all a thing or two.

I thought about trying to get my dad into this game, but to play together we'd kind of need 2 consoles and 2 games... that's a ton of money. Way too much money. I guess there's arena play... but he pretty much just plays FPS games. He's not too keen on complicated control schemes like MH, and I know if the camera drives ME nuts in MH, it'd make it unplayable for him. Cannot overstate enough how much I'm looking forward to monster lock-on camera.

| Ahem, let's get back on topic.
Personally, I don't want extra online only monsters. If they're adding extra monsters (which I doubt) then great, but I want to be able to access them offline as well as online. Mostly, because I hunt alone and am lonely, which doesn't tend to work well online. Of my 300+ hours on Tri, I doubt more than 100 of them were online.
I'd be very surprised if they were adding new monsters at all, though, so ranting about my disliking for online multiplayer was unnecessary. Oh well.
