| People are talking about Monsters and Armors and Weapons... But often over look something very important in the Monster Hunter world. THE SKILLS!!!! You may want to kill a monster quickly but you can't do anything without good skills. And good skills helps you throughout the whole game with rewards and everything, not just on a single "kill" mission. With all the new monsters and areas (for those who haven't played 3G/(or the weaker p3rd ;) ) What are some of the Skills that you think will be helpfull to you to explore the new lands, search for the new monsters... And Kill them!? Keep in mind MH3U is different in many ways than Tri... and there are more water monsters to kill as well as group Cedeaus battles... Ohhhhhhhhh.... The skills I can't wait to equip are: Sheathe: This increases the rate in which weapons are put away.. something I always hated with the GS and most weapons... Honey Hunter: This increases the amount of Honey you Gather... Who doesn't want that!!! Gather 2 honey or royal Honey at a time.. Charm Hunter: MORE CHARMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok.. lets face it.... this has to be one of the greatest new skills in the game. Possibility of gathering 2 charms at a time.... For a list of Armor skills you may look here: http://mh3g.wetpaint.com/page/Armor+Skills | |

the only thing I'm excited for is the Adren combo skill

I used friggin hunter armor & wyvern Gs. using just potions, herbs and steaks. throughout My entire 1st file all the way up to ala when I needed to actually make a good armor. And i did it without leeching/hackers help/ect. just me and my best friend back then, 7 she hated it that i was so persistent to just use that XD its not MH Tri mindset dcj, its just less important to me about "Side Skillz" that I wouldn't normally use or need anyways

| ^ don't get me wrong, no doubt i'll probably have a set that time to time i will use its "side skills"
But ultimately I'd hardly use them, so they are just more "There cause they're there" skillz for me.
But anyways, yea I'm on like a serious adren. run fandom on tri for some reason. So the double skill Adren.'s the 1st thing i'm seroiusly looking forward to :D

| Hmm than what about to go along with:
Adrenaline +2: When HP<40%, Defense bonus increased from 30 to 45, Attack multiplied by 1.3
Challenger +2: When staying at the same area as raged big monsters, add Attack Up (L) and Critical Eye + 2
Guts: Saves hunter from instant death hit when health is above 65
Emboldened: Guts and Adrenaline+2
They kind of go along together...

Well even G Jho has 2 modes , so my guess would be it is just the same o:

isnt he/she always in rage mode? I think it is the same as golden rajang what we were used to being rage mode it's a normal state like any other monster and the "extra" rage is just rage from looking at hungry deviljho videos it fights at the same speed as a normal deviljho just a few added moves such as the ability to use it's breath in a normal state.

| I am really looking forward to digging in to the new Mobs, Armors, Weps, and especially the new Talis.
It'll be extremely nice to have a fresh canvas and plenty of new skills to mix and match. Early on, I will definitely be using Farming sets to acquire parts and zennies for equipments. Then, once comfortable, it'll be back to Tali farming. That Charm Hunter skill will be extremely nice for that.
Challenger seems like it would definitely be worth a go as well. Think of how many Mobs seemingly stay raged the entire damned hunt.
And I'm with you on the support skills, dcj. Though some are merely trivial, there are others who make certain tasks alot more convenient. I have always been a big fan of Speed Sharpener. Razor Sharp is = Speed Sharpener, in my book. Trapmaster is nice too, especially if you're running the stat in your group.
As well balanced as the skills and sets are in Tri, it'll be very interesting to see what can be done in 3U. I just hope that they give us more than 8 pages in the storage boxes this time. I hate having all of my equips all cramped up. Oh and Item Loadout Templates (Especially for Gunning/Bow) would be nice too.

| That sheathe skill sounds helpful for heavy bowgun users who aren't the best at dodging. Although pairing sheathe with a sword 'n shield would be as useless as Auto-guard on a longsword. :P | |

WHAT WHAT WHAT!!!!!!!!!!
SnS can't sheathe??????
I mean along the lines of that SnS uses will be close up to the monsters doing small dodges and re-attacking so no real need of emergency sheathe to dive-dodge, and since SnS can use items without sheathing... pretty much explains itself.

Don't bring useless weapons into it......
Actually, the SNS is often over looked and I think a lot of the new skills could inhance them even further. They are very quick as it is and the skills that make the weapons do more damage with enraged monsters or add shrpness and Attack L, might lead them to being very powerfull. Unlike the LS they wont Auto sheath and you can still use items, maybe even skills to make using items quickers along with the increased damage... Just saying. I think with the right set of the new and old skills and the large amount of SNS' to choose from.. who knows how good they might be this time around..

| To be fair, I'm probably just going to forge another set with Focus, as I plan on staying glued to my GS once again.
But one thing I am looking forward to in OTHER hunters skills. I'd like to see a Legit set. And a MH game without hackers..
..Is that too much to ask?
