| Is Exhaust S any worth? I'm trying to build a very specific Bowgun set consisting of Exhaust -> Pitfall Trap - > Para (-> eventually, if there is a hammer, KO) -> flash bomb once the monster breaks off the trap -> another Pitfall Trap -> ??? -> Profit.
I know the strategy is common, but forcing the monster out of stamina is not a resource very commonly seen. Does Exhaust S work that poorly? I have tested a bit offline. It takes 3 shots to deplete a Qurupeco stamina, so I figured the 20~30 shots you can carry, plus the KO damage your teammates might inflict, would be more than enough, even if your shots eventually hit the head... or am I wrong?

| The thing is that the monster will rage pretty fast when playing with a team, most definitely if you trap it off the bat. So all your exhaust shots are wasted after that. If anything, going for bombing, maybe with sleep s, would do you any good. With a hammer user on the team, you'll be able to inflict it when he goes out of rage anyway.
Besides, i think exhaust shots all need dung? Are you gonna gather all of that?
Exhaust shots do have a unique motion though, it's a shame they just aren't that useful.

| Assuming you have excellent aim for the head section, yeah exhaustion shot is amazingly helpful. | |

| The problem is that monsters recover from KO damage, so I don't know how much time does a shot "last". | |

| ^ Unhelpful post?
Exhaust is a very open thing to use, but you need to have damn good accuracy to hit the head constantly, and in the end, could you do doing more use by using other S instead?

| IMO, Exhaust S is pretty weak, and more often than not, not even worth the trouble or space in your bag.
Here's your ABC's of Exhaust S: 1.) Never while Raged 2.) Unraged Mob-> Works them Towards Fatigue/Exhaust 3.) Fatigued/Exhausted Mob-> Shoot it at Haid and Pray for a KO.
The most practical aplication I have found for it is when a Fatigued/Exhausted Mob is in a trap and you can unload it right on their face.
Also, if your gun does'nt hold more than 3 of it in a clip, don't waste your time with it.

| Well the issue with exhaust S is two fold...
1) For exhaust to really shine you gotta hit it in the head. Not so hard on single hunts but with a party can be practically impossible.
2) You have sleep, poison, para, cluster, pierce, and all elemental shots to choose from. If you wanna stun/fatigue use a hammer and if your holding a bowgun and want it stunned, use sleep instead. Save the exhaust and slicing shots for working on "ninja skills" offline.
