| So I was messing around in my item box trying to get a bunch of combinations registered, and I combined a whetstone with a monster bone (s) to get a boomerang.
Did anyone know this was in the game? This is the first I've heard about it. I'm pretty sure I have to switch my main weapon to boomerangs now, I've never had so much fun using an item in a MH game.
But really, was this in a previous game or something? Like portable third? Because this is the first time I've seen it.

| Yes, it is from older games.
And as for a guide, it flies in different angles depending on how you are moving as you throw it. If I recall correctly it has three angles depending on if you are standing still, walking, or running. Experiments may be recquired.

| ^also furthermore in 2nd gen you could reach a monster's tail's cutting point with impact damage, so Boomerangs could be used to easily cut tails when using a hammer. You'd attack the monster's tail until it staggered once or twice and then started chucking boomerangs.
Still have to try this out in Tri U, it was great fun in MH2.
