| Since Tenderizer is new in MH3U, what does everyone think when comparing it to Critical Eye?
I'm normally a GS user so I'm thinking about getting either Diablos S or Lagiacrus S for my HR set.
Anyways overall dmg output should be higher with a constant 5% increase if hitting the right body parts but I'm still leaning towards Critical Eye being a better choice.

| Is there a way to check what skills do like in tri?
I had memorized all of the English translation names but now they've all been changed to different names.
All I can get is something that says "skill points that improve the tenderizer skill. I mean, who even needs that, it's useless.
So what does tenderizer do again?

| Tenderizer is 5% increased dmg on body parts with Def 45 or above. | |

| if you got the bradygames guide from pre-ordering you can look up all the skills in there, just type the name of the skill in the search field. and click next till it gets to the page of armor skills <or you can read the glossary/index, but that's no fun.> | |

| I'll try that over the weekend, thanks.
What other useful things are in there besides armour skills?

| it lists all the items in the game and their droprates, so if you know you need an item for a weapon/armor, but don't know where it comes from you can search for that too, but i use the wikia for the weapon trees and monster weaknesses. | |

| Critical eye is better, a 5% conditional increase is hardly worth a 10 point skill. | |

| ^ I think like "MOST" skills it really depends on the players weapon use and play style.. if you use a skill to it's best use then it's a great skill but some players just use a few skills better than others. that's why there is a choice.
For some yea Crit eye is better and it works better with some weapons.. for others Tender works better.

| Unlike p3rd stinger (aka tenderizer) doesn't give a 50% boost affinity which is a 12.5% increase but rather gives a straight 5% damage increase if you attack a hitzone more than 45.
A critical = 25% damage. So damage over time = 10% affinity = 2.5% damage increase.
So stinger = 5% damage increase IF you're hitting a 45+ hitzone While crit eye+2 = 5% damage increase on all hitzones over time.
So overall crit eye+2/3 > stinger.
Stinger got nerfed way too hard from p3rd it went from the best skill to a meh skill. Overall it's nice to hav but I wouldn't go out of my way to get it.
Also a 15 point B skill is easier to get than a A+10 depending on your table
