| Well, as many of you know the patch has been released and after downloading it I tried the off-tv play. The first thing I noticed was that when I got in to the tavern the screen of my gamepad momentarily froze. I am not sure if it is a problem with my gamepad or because of the loading it takes. Anyone with similar experience with the off-tv play? | |

| It works as intended, but I greatly miss that HD that the tv gives. (that and unlike a 3ds you're restricted to being approx 15ft of your wii u) It's nice overall and I can definitely see myself using it but ehhh. The tv being within eyesight makes me want to neglect this feature though. It is useful if your sis/mom hogs up the tv for ungodly amounts of time thouigh. | |

| Just buy another TV if your mom hogs it...
I have 2 TV's in my tv room so my wife/daughter can watch something while I hunt monsters.... or I'll watch ESPN (or like on sunday the Masters or Starcraft 2 GSL) AND play MH3... it puts the Ultimate... in MH3U.

Yes, cause we all can buy TVs. personally, I can see myself using this as my primary way of hunting since the only HDMI TV is highly requested and the other TV is really far from the modem, I liked it, it looks great but my only concern is that when you activate the chat (no keyboard), you atr forced to type on the gamepad so your screen becomes a keyboard and you can't move nor see anything, I was expecting the in-screen chat to be something like tri's small screen chat, oh well... no chatting on quests.

| I love this feature. I keep my WiiU in my brothers room atm, and was playing in my room across the hall all night, while he was playing his games on the tv it was hooked up too. Only thing that bothers me a bit is the size of some icons and lettering. I understand why though. Other than that, great patch. | |

| This is a great feature and I was playing it last night while the wife watched tv in the same room. Great for me so I can get in more Monster Hunter and she can stand being in the room so she can watch her stuff. | |
