MHFU elder TIGREX URGANT PLEASE HELP!!!

god damn... thats all i have to say.. i have fought him 72 times ( i have written each time down) and the beotch still kicks my ass... i have tried every weapon type and no fing luck... any tips???

well, if your really determined to beat him ad you don't care about becoming more skilled,you just wqant him dead then clust spam tiggy to hell. try standing on the little ledge to be even cheaper.
he'll die really quick. If you want to grow as a hunter try and learn his moves, he's semi predictable and will become cake if you get his moves down.

ok so im kinda new so what does that mean lol

occasionally the little lady with the big bag on her back will have wyvern claws and sm bone husks.
get those 2 items and get a bowgun that fires clust lvl.2. combining the claws and the husks makes clust lvl.2
keep shooting him with the clust lvl.2
you'll be able to carry 50 of the claws so in total you'll be able to fire 53 clust shots, he'll be dead long before then

does it matter what the bowgun raw damage is? and how long will it take?

bowgun damage doesn't matter for clust spamming(clust does bomb damage, so it ignores defense and it is a constant damage its not effected by bowguns power), it'll probably take you 30 clusts to kill him if I remember right, even less if you cap him.

as long as it fires clust lvl.2 it'll work

crap the closest one i can use is the kut ku one but idk how to get a kut ku ear i have killed 24 kut kus and no ears....

you have to break the ears, but as I recall they can be a pain to get. keep trying though because the drop rate isn't horrible. Im just unlucky

I suggest hammer, his moves are really easy to learn. remember that after the first tusk breaks hes at half life, after the second hes almost dead. bring plenty of flash bombs, and the mats for more Good luck

hey i need to kill him one more time for the tiggy bow and i am still kinda having troubles.. like when i stand on ledge at six he still hits me with the fricken snowball thing... and his roar... and when he moves it almost impossible to hit him in a dif area

If you wanna stick with clust spamming you can make a heavy bowgun and attach a sheild to it, it'll block attacks when your not shooting. in other areas you can use traps+bombs.
otherwise, learn his moves, I've found him o be cake with eagle cleaver.

Personally for good old Tiggy I rely on one of two weapons for me, my first choice is the good old TDS or True Devil Slicer longsword which is a long upgrade path but is a BEAST thunder element longsword, the other which has proven better recently (especially for the guild hall high rank tiggys and beyond ) is the Dragon Bow Solar which is made from dragonwood / dragonmoss and is an upgraded bow which uses thunder element. It has a pierce shot and high charge levels which make it ideal for tiggy killing, but be advised, gunner armor while using a bow means you have to constantly move and aim, tiggy loves those who use gunner armor...

As for the Akantor bow in MHFU I cannot recommend it, in MHF2 the Akantor Bow ruled as the pretty much ULTIMATE bow thanks to high raw, high affinity, and high element, but it took a HARD nerf in MHFU where it's charge level got nerfed so it can no longer attain it's super powerful Pierce shots, it's affinity took a 10% nerf, from 50% to 40%. It took a raw damage and an element damage nerf...and yeah while it does have an upgrade in MHFU it's really sad..
