Longsword benifits

Hello everyone! This topic is just for those who want to get the most out of their favourite longsword and some special effects some swords do.

Ok from the basic... When ur spirit gauge is filled up obviously u would press R to use ur three combo atack, well here's something thatill show ur monster
Who's king! Once you use your first special attack press triangle to add an extra atack, then press R to do your second stage of your special move
And press triangle again, on your finishing blow you can't press triangle after so instead you have to to the feint attack which is triangle and circle.
Altogether you do a SIX HIT COMBO How cool is that!

Now some cool looking swords. One of the coolest swords is a mirage finsword and its upgraded versions, the intresting thing about this one is when your
Spirit gauge is filled up it turns invisible, when its invisible it has the special ability to cut through anything ignoring its own sharpnes law which is great
Against a basarios and other rock hard beasts. My last sword for now that ill tell you about is a hidden saber. Now the hidden saber only has one cool thing,
When your spirit gauge is filled up yet again another blade will extend from the sword which is pretty cool but it doesn't do anything but look pretty
Otherwise this sword has great sharpness and good raw power for high rank quests, creating it is a pain though because you have to farm narga brainstems
But this is easilly fixed by just upgrading to it from a tigres saber (or tigrex tooth because I forgot) which you can do for basically every tigrex upgradeable weapon.

dont all ls ignore sharpness once they fill the bar?

Only during spirit combo. Trust me, tried it on Lao, unless you're comboing, you bounce, even with a full gauge.

Sieg's right with the combo and what makes the mirage finsword and itz othr versions so different is that when ur sword has full gauge it can still bounce off but with the finsword just slices through everything!

I have the blango destroyer+ I think? Its the 2nd upgrade

im not sure but i think the devil slicer or eager cleaver would be the best, heck i took down a tiggy w/ the eager cleaver but it takes a long time to kill it. its kind of a alll round wep, all you need is:

Machalite ore (15)
Earth Crystal (30)
Electro Sac (4)
