Well it's about time.
I'm wondering what games are in the store.

The pokedex app sounds pretty cool. It's about time nintendo releases something like that. It's simple and useless, but something I want to see as a fan. But I expected it from the homebrew community. Lets hope it does more than just show pokemon in 3d and sizes/locations/sizes even though it's very unlikely seeing how they like to keep detailed info away from us. A world map would be nice. I think serebii has one, so I don't see why nintendo can't just slip that in there.

Anyway, that was slightly off topic. The pokedex thing got me a little excited, but all I really wanted to say was that this might be where we see all the pirates getting bricks. If they were serious about that. We'll all get to lol at them, but at the same time I'll be somewhat upset because it'll slow down any development that might be happening. I really was hoping for a devkit3ds or something of the sort with 3d functions so we can see 3d homebrew in the near future. And this update might start thread in certain sites. Like "Muh 3ds died!", "The power light turns on, but all I see is a 3d black screen" "My eyes!" And then it's possibly back to square one for hackers

But wasn't there supposed to be a lot more in this update?

The update is out and overall the e-shop looks nice and the browser works really well..... Just realized though the forum does not support MPO files... wonder if I can update that...

you can scan the markers here..... Also remember to scan markers, take pictures and trade with friends... the stickers you collect unlock new features..

That pokedex sounds pretty cool. I'm about to save some funds to get a 3ds now.

I have had more fun on the 3DS in a short amount of time than I have had on most home consols or any other handheald..

It's still fairly new, and we still haven't gone past that new console/handheld phase. So it's gonna be amazing. I know the ds was like that and I was having too much fun with it. Now it's just a ds. It used to be DEE ESS. But any game blow your mind or are you messing with dlc stuff?

Newness of something never impressed me much.

I still feel the same about the wii as I did when it came out. A little dissapointed in the PS3, and the 360 has improved in my eyes but as far as the 3ds goes...

I was at best buy a short while ago and store worker saw the case it is in hanging from my side. They casually asked what it was an I told them. They said they have never actually seen one but didn't think they were very impresive. He asked what the appeal of it was. I pulled it out and opened it up. As i did so a new icon appeared suddenly with a "nintendo zone" message. Well we both looked at it together and it had a picture of Best buy and told about games best buy sold for the 3ds and offered videos for the store and games... He said.. "I didn't know we had that." and looked really suprised. Next we clicked on the "Snake Eater" video I downloaded last night. He said he was an MGS fan so I gave him the 3DS.. He slowly turned up the 3D as the video game trailer came on. He like many others "Wow"'ed at it. I showed him the camera which he said he heard complaints of.. he was impressed with it. I then showed him the internet and that the pictures we just took could be downloaded straight from the 3DS to the internet.

He talked about his DSlite for a bit and the PSP he has. We also talked about the Vita. I than proceeded to show him the green flashing light that appeared as we were talking. I explained about "Streetpass" and "spotpass" to him and how it was very pleasing to get free content without knowing.


After getting back to work.... (where i wasn't really working) I checked my pokedex took a few pictures than went back to DoA for a bit. I almost have half the figures collected... I browsed through the camera and looked at a few of the 3d Pictures I have of Monster Hunter tri.

Then I went back and watched a few trailers of the upcoming 3DS games and got online.




So to make a long story short.. There are a lot of features that have kept me interested. The eshop is very refreshing to have as it does add quite a bit to do but aside from that there is already a lot to do and I haven't even mentioned the music yet...

But we'll save that and the use I have gotten out of it over my iphone for another time.

I was like "WTF?!" at the first bold and then I yelled "He didn't even know they had that!" You already had me sold and then you kept going with all the little features and slightly mentioned a game. If it could accept calls...XD

I mean, I don't have the money for it right now, but as soon as I do, I'm getting a 3ds.

Nintendo did mention something aboout video chat. It would be cool but with netflix offering 3d video as well as there normal movies on the 3ds later this year, that is what i am interested in.
