High Rank Rathalos! Please Help!

I'm trying to defeat a High-Rank Rathalos. The quest is required to unlock an Urgent Quest, but I usually lose all of my health in just a few minutes! What do I do!?!?!?

Seriousy; I have like 401 defense and it still defeats me!

sorry. Even though there are a lot of people here on this forum who might help ya, you can't expect anyone to answer your questions within the hour.

Firstly, lots of people play Tri, and not MHFU anymore, since the game is old. Next, most people don't live in same time zone, so aren't online at same time. If you want answers right away, you can always try the chat and see if someone is on. Most have played MHFU as well.

I can't help ya, i am still trying to kill tiggy hr2, so i am not of much use. Prolly handy to post your gear that you are using though. Might help to the ones helping you in the near future.

High grade earplugs is a life saver with the los.

Here's some advice
Hit it till it dies dont get hit
Def means next to nothing in hi/G rank.
Aim for the head.

i recommend use the hammer and hit him after a fireball. also flash bomb him a lot, especially when hes flying, itll give you an extra second to get in place. HGE are amazing.

What armor was the guy in the video wearing?

He wears the Narga X Armor. only obtainable in g rank.
and the K.O.-Dragonsword.

I'm only in high-rank and I'm talking about the 8-star guild quest with a Rathalos. My weapon is not the problem. The armor is. What do I use!?!? BTW I'm using Ultimate Indra Armor except fot the head and Ceanatuar S Helmet

probably your best choices. And you'll get one or two shotted no matter what armor you wear. so it's really you learning how to fight los

Yeah, at high rank, Los is gonna hit hard, so it's more important to be able to dodge than to be able to take a hit. It may be too weak at where you're at, but Ratha Soul (Pink rarity) has High Grade Earplug which helps with any monster with an annoying roar. Since Rathalos likes to roar, then 2-hit you, HGE will prevent that.
