Fatalis Armor Mode - Which Equipment?

Alright. After playing through MH Tri I bought MHFU about a month ago. I managed to solo through almost every quest [1x online when HR3]. But I guess now I need some advice. The only quests missing are the HR 6 White Fatalis and all HR 9 Fatalis.

While doing Crimson Fatalis I got to know infamous armor mode. And decided to wait fighting White Fata until I have a good strategy doing so.

- So what is your advice?
- Which weapon is best against Fatalis while he is in armor mode? [GL?, Bowgun?]
- Which armor?
- Which strategy?
- Perhaps you even know a small TuT?

I already tried other forums but as expected not a single helpful answer. From Wiki Tri Forum I know here are some MH experts So hopefully you can help me Anyway, thx alot for your help and answers!!!

Well I prefer to gun or bow him so I use either steadfast shin armor or white monoblos (high rank I think) and usually use adrenaline +2 with heroics if you can, but I usually only use it with bow.
With the gun ill use mythical three horn and clust him, along with a bunch of pierce shots and norm lv3 as well, because the quest takes so long I bring large barrel bomb+ and mats to make more.

So basically it takes me 3 rounds i think, 1st round adrenaline and a bow to break face and chest. Then the gun to break the wings and the 3rd round to finish him off.

However, if you really dont gun then idk what to tell you because I dont like blademastering him. There are also plenty of guides online if I didnt help, and if you have ad hoc id love to help.

Ty for your answer I d love to play with you, but I dont have my PS3 with me atm. Which is no problem, because now and then I will be at home again and able to acess my PS3. But you are US server. Me EU. So I guess not possible to play together with adhoc!?

Mythical Threehorn is one of the guns I thought of. Just because it is able to shoot alot of clust. The other one is crimson fatalis bowgun [sry, dont know the exact english name]. Crimson one is able to shoot alot more crag, which can be helpful during armor mode. And it loads faster than Threehorn. On the other hand it has -15% affinity, which is in my opinion no problem because with Clust only the initial hit suffers from it and this initial hit is very weak anyway [as far as I konw]. There must be a reason why alot of ppl prefer the threehorn [e.g. on youtube]. Perhaps you can explain it to me

Also I thought about an armor set with the following skills:

Load Up
Guts
Recoil 2+ [this enough when using above mentiones guns?]
Bomber

Dont know if this possible to build. What you think about it?

Well what armor do you have? Also, im pretty sure you can sure you can still connect to US on ad hoc
I mean ive played with Yamatsu on there before and hes EU, just gimme ur psn and I could add you to make this easier.

I have EU, US and JP ad-hoc seperately. Had to create a seperate JP, US and EU account to download all of them. :p

Oh so dose that mean you cant? D: and how do you get seperate ah hoc without making a new account?

I don't think you can; you need to make at least 3 different PSN accounts.

So I guess I still need some advice soloing this one

okay so i just made a EU account, so now if you want to try to play it should work :>
my psn is oeon-- (with the two little hyphen thingies)

i also made a Japanese account, man...it so awesome i could cry.. T_T
