Tell him to use great inceadus on alatreon, or amber hoarfrost. For amber hoarfrost flash bomb him in the sky. This is for SA You can't get Great Inceadeus until after you beat Alatreon and he's already using Amber Hoarfrost on Ala. Trust me, I know what I'm doing/advice to give him :P Here's a new one, just met a guy online that said the damage formula is a lie and doesn't work. He was 100% serious. After my roommate played with him, I got on my Wii and followed him to a new city and subtly brought it up and he flipped his lid. Funny funny funny

Or para then clust? Or even para then elemental? Point is poison for damage, but if u have other strong damage weaponry then para. And mo one can forget sleep bombing!

| So, started out my day off work with online arena, got the gaan coins I needed before spamming peco quests for pinnacle. Got three, before deciding to head offline and complete my peco set. Those scales are a bugger, but I have the flintstones for later weapons and lots of greatsword practice on that stupid bird. Moved onto R.ludroth quests, knowing that spongy hide would be a problem. Did the capture quest repeatedly, using my strongest (atm) lance, the spiral lance... I know it's water element, but it's green sharpness lasts longer than rhenohasta. It worked really well, and I got all parts broken + tail cut in every quest. Got all R.luddy items finished with for now, so barroth will be next. Good thing I have these nice water weapons now~ Well, that'll be for tomorrow. I predict lots of crying for shells and scalps. Will probably just clear gobul after to unlock 4 star quests and get hunter killer, better rewards. | |

| Last night I didn't have much time to play, so I decided to join a low rank room.
This was a mistake.
One guy was lvl 22 and posting Bari. Another was level 35 and posting HR peco Then another yahoo walks in and posts yet a third quest.
OMFG.
Somehow we switched over to Lagi.
Things did not improve when the hunt began. The level 22 asked us when we departed to be sure to break the horns. fine. Then he asked twice more during the quest, Often when he was nearly dead from just having been bodyslammed by Lagi
Nothing pisses me off more than an idiot who thinks he needs to repeat himself. I tried to be nice but angry so I responded thus;y:
"We get it , so stop asking"
It took some discipline to use the word "asking".
Also, bossy lvl 22 was on the brink of death many times that night. I just didn't feel like helping much after he came so close to death so many times. I was glad to get away after just two quests.

| Anyway, last night I decided to finish off my long unfinished Rathalos Flamesword. Naturally I was farming offline, and had one plate to go. I get to rewards screen and... there's 3 plates saying lol to me.
So now I never need another plate again ever and have two.
I could make Jhen Blademaster arms for the giggles.
Anyway, I also made a Punish Draw/Crit Draw/Earplugs/Sharp+1 set. I tried it out, managed to Stun a LR Diablos(yes I had trouble finding a good room) with it.
Since it was a duo I think after the reduction I get what 375z for that subquest
So.... 18,800z for the helm... 700z for two checkmate jewels....
51 more times I'll have a return on that investment!

| Lots and lots of offline play, hurray! Okay, I did some online arena to get r.luddy coins and some more pinnacle, but there was plenty of time spent offline too. Finished Barroth, Gobul, and G.baggi parts for now, as well as the items that need Isisium that I can upgrade right now too. Got some lolcharm for my new char, can't wait for the wyvern egg quest to fix that... Besides manic item crafting, just up to the lagi repel quest. ...As a side note, I hate Great Baggi so much. You need a LOT of it's crests, and it's 60% chance for only 1 each round. It's better to farm subquest after you finish his armor. Using hammer on him is so frustrating, his movements leave his head open so little, especially on the big ones. There is also the sleep spamming baggi that get in the way... Oh, and if you kill them all? It seems G.Baggi is programmed to change area if you do. Eh, besides that highlight is killing a Nox early using bowgun in leather armor. Just got 5 flabby hide, an unnerving talon, and a pale extract I used to upgrade my qurupeco chopper. Eh, well, looking foreward to preparing rugged lances for future upgrade tomorrow before doing lagi urgent. Fun fun fun. | |
