Scale+ is an evil joke.

To finish the damascus set I need 4 scale+ for the waist... Unfortunately it's like you have to carve it from his still beating heart. The problem also lies in the fact that the teams you generally get stuck in are godawful /rantover.

In other news, had a fun repel... I used Escadora+saints, teammates used exodus, barroth saxe, and steam hammer. Heck of a technical fight lol. If anyone wants to do some jhen+ tonight sometime let me know. ala+ starting saturday i believe.

same, i finally finished the escadora set to have fun with, but it cleared my rare resources. now i can make a rev and demise to have fun with..might as well make lance after that too then to get the full ala set.

while i don't mind people who hack, i personally don't but thanks for the offer. a side-note, i believe one of the ways to get banned is to make jhen+ when there is no sandstorm... i'm not positive on that, just thought i read that somewhere. if you ever want to hunt something though just let me know.

It's actually an event quest that's on the disc, and no you won't be banned by joining the quest or playing it without the sand storm.

ah, that makes sense then. actually it makes a lot of sense now remembering back like last week i was fighting ala in a party. the thing was godawful strong and i recall one of the people saying they had made it the ala+ and we were fine. i was wondering why it was taking >30 mins to kill it lol

edit: i may take you up on that jhen+ offer sometime then since he never comes nowadays :P I just finished making my damascus set only to see i need 12 more scales+ for jhen+ (inset asian-language sounding words here) armor /versad/

Well I'm never going to assume that random players know what they're doing, especially on a jhen run. Just... you complain that you have to carve to get scales, and your teammates are terrible. Yet you could be doing 50% more damage if you switched to full vangis and GI (let alone something like anguish) which would make a kill much more likely.
