Hold on to those 3DSxl MH3U bundle hopes!!!!

So it was just announced in Japan that they will be getting a Monster Hunter 3G/ 3DSxl bundle. There is no news of a western bundle yet but his could be good news for us as the 3DS version of 3u is also not yet available for preorder yet where the WiiU version is. This could be a good sign that they are waiting to announce the 3DSxl/MHU bundle in the west before making preorders available. Here's hoping!

That'd be phenomenal. I'd buy one up on day one. Especially if the bundle includes a Circle Pad Pro. Fingers crossed!

I'm a little annoyed that the MHU bundle is simply a black XL when compared to the other XL bundles that were shown (even though they really don't look all that good to me either XD).

But oh well, guess maybe we could get a bundle too..

I'd rather have a plain black 3DS than any of the other two shown... they're just atrocious....

While I'd prefer one with some Monster Hunter graphics on it, I'd definitely be happy with that! It'd perhaps be even better, because then I'd be free to put my OWN Monster Hunter decals on it! ( I'm thinking putting either Bracchidios or Zinogre on one side, and leaving the other side open for the flagship monster of MH4, if not Goa Magara.)

Not bad, if I say so myself. Now if only they had 3DS decals of Zinogre: All the ones I'm seeing are for PSP.

EDIT: You know what I'm surprised NOT to see? Anything of the sort for Deviljho!

^ ok unless that sites makes the decals on your handhelds you send in to them, I'd rather crack out the art studio in the basement & just conjure up something of my own.

Hold your horses Oto, there was a special 3DS MHTG bundle in japan when MHTG came out, it looked EXACTLY like those except the 3DS was white and the brachi was red, so maybe we will get that.

Yea I know cuz that's something I've been hoping for in the MHU bundle. But if that's it & all we get is just a plain XL then meh I'd rather save the money for something better, not to just say I got it in a MH bundle.

unless my math is off........ 3dsxl with 3g would cost $240 or so if you buy them seperately so why the hell does the bundle cost $280? Does it cost an extra 40 just to make it a digital copy?

Don't compare Japan prices to western prices. Reginal prices are always different.

Japanese price > American price, usually.

If Capcom decided to release a 3DS/XL MH3U bundle in western stores, I would probably end up buying my 6th 3DS.. (Yeah you read that right..)

But personally, I also hope they make a bundle for the WiiU version, maybe with a MH themed Pro Controller? That'd be nice...

MH3U for the WiiU has been in store systems for a while now but nothing on the 3DS version. (Speculation) With Nintendo they tend to not release a game for pre-order availability to stores or with a set date if it is going to have a special themed system with it. This is often due to them waiting first to release the announcement at their given time. (Speculation end )

so while not a bundle, there might be other reasons for the delay in the 3DS pre-order availabilities and listings on websites....

I also know that the all black 3DSll(xl) in Japan comes with a Downloaded copy of MH3g...

But... would you want a 3DS with a bundled downloaded game or the actual physical copy?

Physical copy hands down

Cause if the 3DS breaks in some way/shape/form you can just get a new DS and still have the cartridge with all your data still intact. Cause usually if I send over a DS to be fixed, they somehow loose all my data or give me a new handheld & transferring the data's too much a pain the the auss to bother with.

I've had a very simple time with the transfering of data from the 3DS to the 3DSxl and redownloading of information from the eshop... or uploading and copy of data from SD card to computer for a backup... nothing like a DS/DSlite or before...

But yea.. Hands down I love having an actual game over a download game with a few exceptions.. All my 3DS art programs are DLC for easy access.. I think "Apps" and actuall "GAMES" are two different things.
