I have over 250 hours of playtime, and had to delete talismans to free up space in my box.... I have a single +5 attack talisman...
What i mean to say is: there are 10s of thousands of talismans, and if you are looking for a specific one, you are going to be there for hundreds of hours.
I suggest you make due with what you currently have, and upgrade yourself with what is available. If you happen to get a decent talisman along the way, it is a bonus, and you should be happy about it.
My 2 cents.

Well any decent attack tali would be good. I'm not looking for just one specific tali. Attack +7 would just be the best I could get. I know what you mean, and I have gone tali hunting in Tri before. The set I'm making doesn't NEED an attack tali. it would just be nice if I could get my hands on one. I'm not planning on tali farming for hours on end.

You will eventually get one, I wanted a Handicraft+5 tali for a while, farmed with no luck. Then messing around farming some blos I got a Handicraft+3 OOO Talisman, easily gemmed for a Handicraft+5. I'm sure you have some decent Attack Talismans in your Charm Table, just keep playing and one will eventually come your way.

Just a couple of questions before I hit G-Rank:
1) I heard that Slime is toned down in G-rank, making it less effective. Is this true? If so, I'm better off using elemental Dual Blades instead, right? Slime might still be a good choice for multi-monster quests with differing elemental weaknesses, I guess.
2) I often hear people talking about mixing Helios X and Z. Why's this, and what's the specific combination that people use?

1) Slime shines when u solo anything in G rank. For instance when i use slime GS vs Elemental or Raw results are at worst equal but explosions makes it easier to land few more Lv3 charges in majority of times. It depends i guess. There're more op things in this game than slime.
2) Helios ZZZXZ gives you acces to HGE and Sharpness+1 straight on with seven slots to gem pretty much anything there and also no negative skills at all. Combine it with good talisman, weapon slots and you got the idea. It's generic but also very usefull.

The Argosy's been in my village for a week or two of in game team, and every day it says 4 days left. The worst part is that none of the special prices are in my favour q;-;p Any insight as to why it does this/how to fix it?

I believe you must defeat the Ivory Lagiacrus. Then he should depart/arrive normally. If you have done it already then I can't help you really....

Savage Deviljho, from what I've read it seems he just turns up randomly, is there any quest that's a good option if I want to try and hunt it?
-ed- did more searching... so the event quest An Ominous Cry will have one, and there's meant to be another event quest with just him. Haven't checked DLC for a while so hopefully that's why I couldn't see it on my quest list over the w'end.

How useful is the Miralis armor set?
I was watching this to get a good idea of what was available, and I looked up the skills.
Rock Steady seems like something that would be incredibly beneficial, plus we get Attack Up (L). With a Talisman, there are many options to be gemmed in, but the thing I'm not sold on is Gloves Off. Is that worth it? Because I hear it has a 5 minute cooldown and lass for only 90 seconds while active.

for the weapons no, for the armors they have to be rare8 at least (but you'll have more than enough armors anyways by the time your get close to 120 upgraded weapons) duplicates count , event weapons don't

Okay, thanks. For the armor, do you just have to upgrade one piece of each armor (one helm, chest, gloves, waist, and legs) to the max? Or a certain number of armor.

What is the easiest way to find someone who has the G rank Alatreon quest? I tried to find someone for a few hours today and didn't succeed. All of the ones that did have them had passwords and were only playing with their friends. I find it annoying how 95% of the people that have the quest like playing with ONLY friends. And it's impossible to because friends with any of these people because they are always in their rooms that have passwords. I guess I'll just have to wait till it comes out...
