A good weapon for Lunastra/Teostra? (MUST HAVE A SLOT)

I have full Kushala Daora armour, I just don't know what weapon to get.

And before ANYONE recommends a great sword, I'll say it now, I am CRAP with Great Swords.

And the reason why it needs a slot is because I need to add in another grinder jewel for speed sharpener.

Diablos Maul upgraded to Finishing Hammer.
No slots, but so much green sharpness you wont need speed sharpen, and it has (to my knowledge) the highest raw damage of all Low Rank hammers.

hmm my first lunastra i used upper battleaxe but i just barely won. try to get something with either dragon, water, or poison. one weapon that kicks lunastra's ass is knockout dragonsword. but thats G-rank stuff. so maybe use dark scythe, forgot how much sharpness or power but i know it has dragon. or was that poison?

ScienceJesus, you could have reccomended Fire Dragonsword. It's got some green sharpness (easily remedied with Sharp Sword or, yes, Speed Sharpening), A SLOT, 720 raw (which is damn good for a LR LS) and a neat 350 Dragon. It's great for any Elder Dragon, ESPECIALLY its upgrades (I use Smoulder Dragonsword or Big Menacing Scythe on Elder Dragons these days. I just need some of those G-Rank Lao-Shan Lung materials!)

Dark Scythe only reaches Poison when it gets upgraded twice into Scythe of Menace, which uses High Rank materials.

*Hff* everyone makes the common mistake that LUNASTRA is weak to water, it's TEOSTRA who's weak to water, LUNASTRA is weak to ice.

Water still does decent damage to both of them Mr. MonsterWeaknessEncyclopedia

Mr Stark, may i ask why you think i have and or there is a problem? And if hes only at Lunastra, he cant possibly hope to get fire dragonsword,as he needs lao shan stuff, whitch he needs to beat village to get, and sorry, was getting it confused with black scythe.

As far as I know luna is weak to ice and teo to water with the aura on and both weak to dragon with the aura off . I would suggest using the snow venom ds for both for early levels and then all dragon weapons will do the job.

Whoops. Then again, he HAS included Teostra as well. And AFAIK, none of the Elder Dragons (excluding Yamatsukami and Lao-Shan Lung) are required missions. Only ED I had slain before unlocking Nekoht's quests was Chameleos, for its set, IIRC, so I could go for Kushala, then with Kushy's set go for Luna and Teo.

Sorry, I didn't mention that I've already killed Shen Gaoren so I've got the Lao-Shan Lung mission.
