Decoration Load-out

I made a recent discovery which I hope everyone here can benefit from.

The quick story: Early on, I targeted Jaggi as my first armor set, as it has Attack Up (S). I registered this as Set#1. Then I made Loc Lac set for transporting quests, and registered that as Set#2. A few hours later, I made two Attack decorations, put on Set#1, and gemmed to Attack Up (M).

A day later, I ran another transport quest, and put on LocLac. When I switched back to Set#1, the decorations had removed!

Lesson learned: by using Equipment Sets, you can set up different skills with the same armor. Just make sure you have enough decorations if you have multiple armors using the same type of decorations.

To add if you sell one of those talismans that are in a set it will completely remove the set from your equipment loadouts.

It's really helpful, I set 5 perception jewels on my hunter armour + weapon and saved that set, then later on I removed them and put them on qurupeco and saved that set, then I found when I changed set, the decorations changed too.
Basically.
5 gems on Hunter armour - saved.
remove gems from Hunter armour - not saved.
put 5 gems on Quru armour - saved.
wearing Quru armour with gems in, loads hunter armour set, all gems are automatically moved from Quru to Hunter.

So by putting on the 5 gems on an armour and saving it like that, causes the decorations to move over to that saved armour when chosen. :D

Is it me or this system was obvious since P3rd?

Not all of us can import P3rd from Japan you know?

This was the system from P3rd, which is amazing. There is also a lot of other new stuff in mh3u that was brought over!

Well you don't have to buy it to have a knowledge...

i combined rathalos armor and jaggi faulds to get Attack up M, gourmand, and speed sharpening with none of the negative effects of either of the armors and minimal elemental weakness to any damage type. First time mixing armor actually got me something nicer.
