| Is it that hard to aim? Deviation doesn't even make shooting harder; you have to aim so that the curving shot HITS the monster, not to mention most bowguns have one-sided deviation and not a left/right deviation.
I was doing S. Zinogre arena yesterday, and my team mate was using blos HBG, and he kept shooting Exhaust bullets for some idiotic reason considering I was hammering. I told him to use pellet and he stopped shooting mid way the fight. He told me, "Dude, this gun has a massive deviation."
Are people so used to shooting straight or something? Last time I checked, people learned to adapt to something before complaining. This guy thought shooting straight with a deviating bowgun is a smart idea...

| I just use bowguns without deviation... when I do use bowguns, which is rare. | |

| It's hard when you solo with it especially when it's a lartger one because you have to aim at a really wide angle and not every shot hits the same general area. I have no issues with deviation unless it's large or L/R | |

| Lol I don't think it matter at that point with it's wide spread but in terms of pellet that gun in the arena doesn't have many x.x | |

Well, that would mean you are far away from the monster. I stay about 2 rolls away from a monster, and deviation never makes my shot miss. Arkon Antiphon has L/High, and Nether Salvatore has R/High. The angle you are shooting isn't wide. I still don't see what messes people up; I guess it's the learning curve but hey, that's Monster Hunter for you.

| I stay like 4 or 4 rolls away mainly because I don't use evasion+ and I always remove the limiter making it even slower | |

| I dunno but what about pierce? Does it matter that you have high deviation or not? What happen to bullet when it hit the monster? I guess you should aim at right angle to make the bullet hit straight from head to tail.
For instance you shot Jho straight in his head with no deviation and the bullet goes up to the tail. With high deviation from long distance the bullet will turn left/right in his stomach. Correct me, i can be wrong on that.

| You are wrong. Pierce and Normal lv3 have been buffed in this game, it is laughable. They basically auto-aim the monster after the first hit. If anything, deviation makes pierce better because it forces the pierce ammo to auto-aim even more, meaning it will move towards the monster more, allowing it to get all its hits in. | |

| Well thx for clarification. I kinda knew i'm wrong on that. But still sounds a bit nuts. So you can shot even in completely wrong part of body and bullet will still go through the monster from head to tail. So i hit leg and it auto-aim from head to tail. Well that's broken indeed. | |

| You can easily test this out by using Normal lv3 underwater. | |
