By glancing over the website, I suppose you could call this Terraria 3D.

Nope. Seems to be quite different from Terraria, and Picroma is handling sales themselves. There's a "mini demo" available after you sign up.

Yeah, it's pretty far apart from Terraria as well, although your character can keep its inventory when it moves to other worlds like in Terraria, so that's pretty cool. I would have posted a video, but I'm on mobile so I couldn't.

This looks very, very interesting, somehow I had never heard of CubeWorld before this video but it looks basically how I hoped Minecraft would be when it went out of beta...

I honestly think it blows minecraft out of the water. MC is just so boring now, but this game is epic.

It "blows Minecraft out of the water" for possibly two reasons:

- You're already tired of Minecraft because it's been out for a few years now, and this is new and shiny

- Cube World is really an entirely different genre, just with similar visuals

I'm still buying it as soon as my PayPal's charged though.

Been playing for quite a while today.
made a character of each class that all got to lvl2 that I deleted before I decided on what class to play.


Currently a lvl5 warrior(tank specc) with a peacock pet.


I like the game alot so far. altho I still have quite much to figure out as far as the weapon designing goes.

So... The forums haven't seen any action in 7 days (I guess they are down), the game was released, but people were not able to play properly, so "buying" it was disabled... and overall, it looks like it is DoA.

Shame... was going to give this a try too.

That's weird, I was able to buy it and I am having lots of fun with it right now.

also, warrior with guardian specc is sick :|

The fact that you can block with every weapon and that it proccs a 100mana usage if you block properly means you got a HIGH damage output along with high defenses.

So yeah? any1 else that actually have this game? :|

Skyrim does have a habit of pulling you away from games, it's a shame they're coming out with an mmo next instead of the real next game...

Got a level 22 Ranger and a few other classes, and I am enjoying the game so far. Very open world, and it really does seem to go on forever (in a good way). Loved going into the desert area, and finding a huge pyramid dungeon. The forests had nice castles and catacombs, the snow areas had wandering mammoths, the oceans have all manner of big fish, and I can't wait for volcano zone...

Anyone know how to get diamonds? Got a recipe I want to make, but no diamonds.

(As you can see, this is a fun little game well worth a little investment in a small indie developer.)

Elder Scrolls actually has the potential to be really good. It's basically Skyrim Online.

Also, ESO has been in development for 6 years now, since 2007, by ZeniMax Studios. Bethesda is obviously giving input and guiding the project, but they are not developing it. ESO has little influence on Bethesda's development cycles.

After another look, I actually started to like the idea of TESO a little more. Although it won't really be as much like jus Skyrim with online like we would want, it still looks like it's adding a lot of features to make it feel like an action RPG, and there will be plenty of abilities that rely on stamina and magicka and have no cool down time, like we would want from an elder scrolls game. All combat is real time as well, which is something I was definitely happy to hear, so I'll definitely check that out once it's released.

Anyways, back to cube world, getting my laptop back this week, so it won't be much longer before I can really get into it. I hope they still aren't having trouble with the website. I haven't bought it on my laptop yet...

If you already bought the game once, then just copy your setup file there and run it. Put your user name and pass and it will update right away.

Level 34 now, and learning a lot. Finally learned how to upgrade my weapon from a lower level into a higher one. Now I know what all those platinum pieces were for.

Saw my first +x mobs, and got handsomely rewarded for doing them. Getting used to the middle button dodging, and am thinking of going back to warrior or starting a rogue class. Went into my second world today too... if one infinite world wasn't big enough, I can go explore a completely new one! Also learned that pets get thirsty if you ride them too much, lol.

The game start out so simple, but it has many intricacies. O well, Back to hunting some big baddies.

Shit.... My personal laptop can't actually run the game... I can only play it on my Uncle's PC.

Too bad.. I too was surprised that my pc that I used to play Rift and other MMOs had graphic lag on cubeworld. Alpha game that hasn't been graphically optimized yet. C'est la vie.
