| Ohhhmmmgh Will... Sorry man.. They announced that was a typo in the article. It was ment to be Momster Hunter mobile another IPhone game..... Not MH4. ;)
Seriously though, Capcom is very protective of how release announcements of MH games are given.. This is not one of them and unlikely the case. Though hopeful I do not fell this is acurate information. Let's hope I'm wron but all around the information sea unreliable.

| Well, the title does say false hopes... That's the last time I trust a Spanish nintendo blog, though. | |

| The blog is not a spanish nintendo blog nor the title has anything to do with it being a false statement or not. | |

That's great XD
I read it, but I'm just going to wait and see what happens both here in the forums and in rl. I'm eager for MH4 to show on shelves over here, but I'm not going to get my hopes up too soon.

| I hope this hints an early localization. If not we will have to wait 3 more years.... and if not then.... How about Operation Autumm Leaves? | |

Three years... Not sure I want to wait until I'm twenty-one for this, but, if I must >.> I am curious, though, but what is this Operation Autumn Leaves thing? Sorry if this is a bad question, or if it's already been explained before ^^"

Sorry if this is a bad question, or if it's already been explained before ^^" there is no bad questions... ;) Operation Auntum Leaves was meant to bring Monster Hunter Portable 3rd to the west by spamming all official Monster Hunter or Capcom related sides with messages that we want MH in the west. sadly though it failed (no idea if it had any influence on mh3u release).

Ah, so that's what it is. Thank you ^-^
Not sure if this should be done, though... Sounds a bit rude, along with, well... Annoying. Might explain why it was unsuccessful with MH Portable 3rd, from what I can tell. Yes, maybe a friendly message to them that we're eagerly waiting for MH4, but I don't think spamming them will make them want to; more likely to do the opposite, in my opinion ">.>
- Spoiler:
Much like a time in middle school, when the band decided they didn't want to play Pirates of the Caribbean anymore (or at least their teacher), which meant the orchestra couldn't, either. Our orchestra teacher decided to let us write to him, since band was at a different time of day, and nearly everyone who did write wrote mean things, all except for me. I simply wrote that I had wanted to play it as a surprise for my mom, since she loves those movies... Our teacher told us the next day that after he read mine, which wasn't the first he read, he suddenly just had to find out who I was, finding my picture on the computer and getting upset (she said he cried a bit). It was that letter that brought the piece back into play, not all the means one together, nor any one of them. If you consider this, spamming is just a lot like all those mean letters... Just a nice message might help, along with avoid the chance of them deciding suddenly that they don't want to ">.>

| Ever heard of operation rainfall? That worked perfectly, all three of the game were eventually localised in both the USA and Europe. | |

That was actually only for America. The games were already planned for Europe before that operation was made. At least Xenoblade Chronicles was. It was all Nintendo of America's choice to not sell the game in America at first.

I have heard of it, but never have gotten an explanation ^^" I am curious, but was this basically another round of spamming the companies involved with the games? Or did they have another idea in mind?

| Let me explain a bit.. NOA has this belief that some games are to... Japanese for the west... And have actually stated that they feel only Mario games sell here and don't get me wrong they do sell well here, that's why there has been 16 new mario/related games released since the 3DS/WiiU were released but they hold this belief over the development and release over other games, to include Monster Hunter and many other games to include those in operation Rainfall (you can google those). Nintendo has also gone as to openly state that thye have delibertly held games back on both the 3ds and wiiu until such time as they felt they were needed to be released (for competion and sales.) Not when fans wanted them. The games in operation rainfall were able to localized in the EU through companies there but were never deemed in demaned enough here in the US by NOA and they felt (as they did with MH at the time) the Nintendo properties took priority. But due to the show of demand they agreed to bring them here to the US but only the EU copies with no changes to match the American population as would normally be done for language. and to make it even cheaper in the case of most the game, they were gamestop exclusives. This limited the amount of copies NOA had to make and ship. This is also why GameStop ended up saleing the use copies at $90 a pop for Xenoblade.
Monster Hunter 4 is facing much the same problem. While Both Tri and 3U showed that Indeed MH on Nintendo Systems were very popular here in the west, Nintendo still feels they should be focusing on their main titles over it. This also does not help when you add in the fact that Capcom is still protective over the MH franchise.
Nintendo has seen the Value of MH4 though in countries outside Japan However by bringing it to Korea and being given full localization rights by Capcom there. This may not show their intentions in any other region however. While, even after the release of the PS4 and xb1 the 3DS is still the best selling game system due to the lengthy delay in the release between MH3U and MH4 here the talk and popularity of MH in the general comunity has waivered and even among fans.. to Capcom and nintendo they see this as a sign of MH not being popular in the west and see no fault in it of their own due to lack in localization and advertising.
Nintendo and capcom have to know something is popular (in this case MH4) to take notice and fans need infomation from the companies to get motivated... so theirs a problem. Which will act first?

| Yeah, Mario tends to sell really well, plus it's survived a good number of years, showing that it's valuable to both them for profit and gamers to buy for entertainment. Nintendo's just an overall popular name in the gaming world, with other game names they've made also showing this. Then again, though, they do advertise their games... If Capcom wasn't so over-protective, they might just be able to fix their sales dilemma in the west. Think of all those shooter games that're so popular; MH has a chance. Lots of people like to do the whole killing thing on games. Advertizing would help, especially with how many gamers watch television, too :/ - dcj91x wrote:

I do hope they know this way of thinking, of wanting popularity without providing information, is bad... I've talked to people on campus about MH3U, people who hadn't known anything about it, and they got interested. Provide some details and people get interested.

| There was also an Operation Cherry Blossom to bring MHP3rd here but it simply didn't worked out. At least MH3U didn't need an Operation Apple Tree or something.... We shouldn't have to do Operations if the companies actually listened. Anyway is Operation Autumm Leaves good? | |
