| It always appears like in the MH world, Monsters attack each other. Atleast, in the opening credits and cut scenes. When Devijho is hungry too. But, it seems one sided. I would love to see Deviljho attack a monster and then they have an all out war to the death. Instead, Deviljho attacks something while what he wants to eat attacks you.... I mean, I know I'm good. But, if I was a large monster and a Deviljho was trying to eat me I am sure he'd appear my number one threat.
What do you guys think? | |

| well from a logical and ecological view you are right but from the few of a gamedesigner it wouldn't make sense to let the monsters that you are supposed to hunt kill each other as that would simply negate all purpose of the game. also doesn't deviljho only eat dead or captured monsters (and herbovores)? there are however minions that start attacking great monsters, heaven't seen to much of it in 3U but you defenitely had it in other games.
though i would really like to see more monster vs. monster fights also in ecology vids (which i think there are alway too few in the games)though it seams they start doing that in MH4 (zinogre vs ioprey/drome)

I've had Wroggis wake up Great Baggi in free hunt, Baggis try to assist me with Deviljho, and Jaggi attempt to fight Rathian and Qurupeco, though nothing seems to like Qurupecos, especially what it summons XD Would be surprising, though, if the Qurupeco would at least realize what's going on and try to do something to save itself, whether it's fight back or not stick around to get beat up ">.> I've always liked those videos, to be honest... I'm eager to see what they do in MH4

| When the Deviljho gets hungry it attacks other large monsters, I think's it's the only large monster that does that.
Also Barioths tend to flee whenever a Deviljho is in the area

Agnaktor do the same with me, fleeing as soon as the Jho lugs itself into the Agna's current area (not sure on subspecies, however). Great Jaggi, however, just stick around for anything that comes into the area, trying to attack it or me until both myself and the other monster have accidentally beaten it senseless in our crossfire >.>

You will have to agree with me that some monsters have common sense and others have a brain with the size of an acorn :P
