At the dawn of creation when the first single cell life began to emerge in the depths of the seas it was greeted by Jerry. Already having lived among the oceans for countless of millennia Jerry befriended these new life forms that would one day spread across the land and become all manner of life upon the Earth.
Throughout the ages Jerry came and went always a silent protector watching over those who needed him but never making himself truly known to anyone.  It has been said though that in many cultures all over the world stories and images of him had been found if you only knew where to look.

Though no true sightings of Jerry were ever documented, on day in the summer of 82 along the Nile River a young boy was playing with a reed and noticed a shining gold color gleaming in the water. Thinking a royal from the nearby city had passed his poor village the boy went into the water to see what it was. Swimming around in a circle was a strange looking fish like no other he had ever seen before and unlike any other fish it was unafraid. Reaching down into the water he scooped it up into his arms and he felt a strange bond between them.
The boy had been forever changed and within his mind he knew that this creature he held within his arms was Jerry. Never again would he see Jerry in that form but in many other forms would Jerry show himself and would the boy share Jerry with others. For centuries the boy lived only aging to adulthood and never growing old beyond that. One of the great gifts of Jerry.
He influenced many things in his lifetime and saw the works of Jerry first hands… Even a popular cracker snack treat modeled after Jerry that no one would ever know.
Then one day a game would be born, Pokémon. Within it was a creature known as Magikarp. Instantly the boy who had lived for centuries knew that this creature was the one he had seen so long ago in the waters who had changed his life, Jerry. He had somehow influenced the creators into putting himself into the game.. But like always he had made himself a small part of the game, for now. The boy waited until the time had come. This was why Jerry had chosen him. Soon.. Soon, he would share Jerry with the world.
 
 
Now the story you have read, it could be true or it could be make believe or it could only be one of many dreams from a little girl sitting on her bed at night looking up at the stars calling out, "I do Believe in Jerry, I do I do!".. It is up to you to decide, will you be part of the great adventure that is Jerry?

Law, don't give into peer presure if they decide to allow you to have a modicon choose one that fits you and the forum. Also, get X/Y if you like pokemon Do it.. Do it like a real man who plays pokemon.. ;)

But still, Alaskan Huskies and Shiba Inu are both Spitz dogs, but an Alaskan Husky isn't a Shiba Inu. Same principal. :p

Now, back to what's important. Got a mewtwo for Jerry.
 
I really like the GTS but I think I like the random trades better just to see all the different people and give them a Jerry. I think after 100 more ill go on to the next gym though.

It sounds like this is faster than GTS, too, overall, the whole idea of just randomly trading for something instead of putting a Pokemon up and waiting for what you want. I remember usually I would have to wait some number of hours to a day just for my Pokemon to be traded.
Also sounds like a better way to spread Jerry across the world and let Jerry meet so many different kinds of people and places

I agree. Hmm, maybe I should start keeping a record of all the places Jerry goes to...

I'm sure some of us here are curious about Jerry's worldwide adventures... I know I'm curious about just how far out Jerry's gotten, along with possibly just how close Jerry already is to me, also
