| Well game has been roughly out for almost month and a half now but feels like game has been out for forever... God damm, no battle frontier/battle subway in x and y really turned me off for those games after beating the game. I am so bored of it for now and struggling to go back to that game And g-rank now seems to be impossible for me to solo (3ds)... Sigh I need monster hunter 4 | |

| All other localizations, with the exception of MH3U, have been done more than a year after the original release ... so don't get too excited. | |

| There are a lot of things that go into localization... and you have to remember how.. umm "protective" CapJap is of the MH franchise... Even from it's own companies in other countries. | |

| No subway in X-Y? FUUUUUUUUUUUU
On Topic: We will have to wait until next year to have a HINT in localization, then some months for an annoucement, and THEN the dubstep trailer and Finally the game release. It takes a lot of time for a MH game to get out of Japan, like really a lot of time. And the series has already been out like 10 years since the first MH I believe and Capcom is still being di- I mean jerks with the western MH players, and they have no qualms about releasing ReSi6 without even thinking. Why do I think that they don't care about us at ALL.

| If they prioritized it, it would be released shortly after the Jap. However, other countries are mainly an afterthought, since their main income are from the Otakus on their own little island. *Note, not the Americanized version of Otaku...* | |

| It is always difficult to tell what people from Capcom and MH mean by certain comments when they talk about western gamers and the Monster Hunter series... But: http://www.polygon.com/2013/10/30/5048562/monster-hunters-director-on-re-energizing-japans-game-industryIt is obvious that they recognize the following of players in the west.. they just don't recognize the amount or number of sales in the west.. They dismissed the sales of Tri entierly and while admited 3U as a sucess in the west.. did not exspand on it beyond short statements. Capcom has also stated that many new game mechanics in both 3U and 4 were influenced by Western MH players but again little beyond that... So as always it's difficult to tell weather these statements are in favor of the west or not. | |

| Good article, but I don't think it says anything in particular about localizing MH4, or other future titles. It says alot that people are willing to go to Monster Hunter events in Japan. I am only a couple $100K short of being that crazy...
It occurs to me that since 100% of the people I street pass are playing Pokemon, this wouldn't be the best time to release 4.

| ^ not so sure that's the case... What it shows it that releasing a title world wide same day is a good idea.
From what has been shown so far by both nintendo anf Gamefrfeak.. it really did cut down on overall game leaks and may have helped support world wide sales as well as lower overall distribution costs. Though I'm not so sure that's the same concerns with Capcom and the MH series as with the ones on Nintendo outside Japan it's Nintendo that has been paying for Marketing and sales for the most part. I also believe in Tri/3U article Nintendo has also helped pay for some of the localization devlopment costs as they do with some other games... Don't recall 100% at the moment... So as always CapJaps reasonings for the long delays in localization will always be their own.

| Like I hate 3U. They should have lowered g-rank monsters health for 3ds or something. Because soloing for me seems impossible when I don't have any g rank armor sets | |

| You just need more practice. The entire game is soloable.
On topic: It sure would be nice for some kind of localization, but we probably won't hear of anything for awhile. Monster Hunter Localization logic D:

You could also start by doing the "Harvest Quests" and get those G-Armors instead. There are the Alloy type armors, and the bug armors. There are also the easier monsters, like Jaggi, Arzuros and the like. Start small, and build yourself up. Same with the weapons.
