What armor set works best with Dual Swords?

I know I talk about hammers and bowguns, but I am interested in becoming proficient in all weapons, and I started a new game, this time focusing on Dual Swords.

I currently wield a pair of Jaggid Shotels+ and wear a full suit of Alloy Mail.

I am currently on the three-star missions.

Anything with Razor Sharp. Like Wroggi armor.

Well IMO there isn't a lot of good "Dual Sword" set in the low-rank tier. Your best option is just to go for the good ole fashioned Volvidon armor. Then Azure Rathalos would be the next best armor as it gives you Razor Sharp and Earplugs. The Critical Eye+1 is pretty handy too. Then your endgame armor sets can vary, but your looking at Sharpness+1, Razor Sharp, Evasion+1/2, Earplugs, Bombardier, Stamina Recov Up, Marathon Runner, Trapmaster, and Critical Eye/Attack Up as some skills to look at.

General Set:

Honed Blade
Razor Sharp
Evasion+1

Bushido Set:

Sharpness+1
Awaken
Trapmaster
Bombardier
Evasion+1

Evasion Set:

Evasion+2
Evade Extender
Sneak
Sharpness+1
Speed Sharpening

Full Rath Soul Z with Spectral Demolisher works pretty good on everything. The only downside is lack of creativity.

If using dual swords with element? Something that gives Sharp+1, Razor Sharp, and Element Attack Up.

If using Slime dual swords? Bombardier, Sharp+1, Razor Sharp, and if possible, Element up, any mix is good but Bombardier is key.

If using pure raw....why are you using pure raw Dual Swords, stahp that immediately.

Element up does nothing for slime, get Attack Up or evasion instead.

My "element" is poison - my DS's are Bloodwings.

Personally, I cannot wait to introduce Baleful Nox to them; preferably they will have become Bloodwings + by then (the two "elements" that do extra harm B. Nox are water and poison.)

While these guys have been listing skills and armors to try, maybe a few friendly tips could be in order too? Now I am no expert with them but since getting into tri ultimate, unlike sns which I normally would hunt nearly everything with, I've been using the revamped DS with much joy. Now, as we all know, attacking a monster while exhausted and it is just standing there is naturally smart, I do think that is the best time to go demon mode since unless the monster has some obvious tells that get you a lot of hits in or you are just that good then I say play the ds like how Ali fights: Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. Basically what I mean is use the mobility ds has to dance around the monster, strike fast and as combo-centric as possible, but, get out before you get smacked. Basic 101 stuff but always handy to be reminded a basic.

I figure the ds experts could give some great tips though.

Marathon Runner and Razor Sharp are the best friends of the Dual Swords.
