| I went from Low to G solo using volvidon armor. My advice is only farm for weapons you think you could need and do only the key quests | |

| Here is my awesome (not really) advice. Do only key quests. Do that, have him get a brachy weapon maybe, and you should get there in no time. | |

| And like I said, have him get a brachydios weapon and that may last him till G rank. Assuming you can carry him to some degree. | |

| Would you recommended him being a gunner? | |

I'd just recommend whatever he is most comfortable with. Something that he'll be able to fight all monsters with (which is why brachy weapons are good, since they have good raw, and slime which isn't bad on any monster). But, uh, unless he wants to use the bowgun, he'd probably be better off with a blademaster weapon. But then again, that's just my say on that.

| Slimetime would definatley help get your friend to G-Rank. The keys are actually pretty easy, I'd say the only problem you may have is Goldbeard. Other than that everything should be fine. | |

Goldbeard was a problem? IIRC my brother and I, when we first did it, did it in about 10 minutes. You'd think an Urgent taking you into G rank would be a bit harder that that.
