Of all the time I've been using Kiranico, I've never seen this info there lol If the info is correct, then the Axe Fury slashes have gotten a rather significant buff in power.

| Idk why people overlook the power of the fury slash. You can head lock monsters so easily with it. | |

tbh that move was garbage in tri. At least now you can go back into an overhead slash or side step.

At least now you can go back into an overhead slash or side step. it worked amazingly in Mhp3 and mh3u, never used swaxe much in tri so Idk how it was In Tri, when you use the Fury Slash, you couldn't do anything until the move was over. I can't recall if you could roll, but I'm certain you couldn't. Plus each hit had a multiplier of .1, making it a very weak move compared to many other attacks in the whole game. You could say it would be used for elemental damage, but Switch Axe was mostly Power based, and other weapons like Sword and Long Sword would attack faster than the Fury Slash, and with more power. If you ask me, the Fury slash was great for status. After the first two hits with the Fury slash, the rest stick with same effect, meaning if you inflicted a status(in Tri's case, Paralysis is the only status you could have for Fury Slash when you had Awaken), you can deliver a constant stream of the status infliction.
