PostMicrosoft Account Problems

Today my Microsoft account was locked. I turned on my 360 this morning to play whatever, but I wasn't allowed to sign in for some blasted reason. My account was just fine the night before. I went onto outlook.com because my 360 told me to do so. I had to answer a bunch of bull crap questions to verify that the account was mine. After doing so, I received an e-mail telling me to change my password and the account was mine again. I turned my 360 back on in an attempt to play something, but I was denied access again. I answered another questionnaire with the exact information as last time in hopes that something might work right for once. I got another e-mail saying that I did not provide enough information (even though it worked last time) to verify the account as mine. Bam. Account locked.

I will most likely have to create a new account, but then all of my save data from games I played on my previous account would be lost. Is there any way at all for me to rescue that save data, or transfer it to my second account?

Yes, calling their horrible support line should do it. You just have to have the patience to get through the call and do everything you already did before they fix it for you.

*dcj91x calls

nintendo:

instantly connects. "hey i have a problem." "oh we are so sorry. Let us do free shipping and here is a code for $50 free eshop credit for your troubles and we will fix it for you right away."

Sony:

After a short hold. "I have a problem.' "Well what did you do to cause it?" "Nothing my system quit working." "well send it to us at your cost and we'll tell you how much it will cost you for us to fix it since you broke it."

Microsoft:

A long hold. "I have a problem." "Did you turn on your system?" "Yes" "Did you turn it off?" "Yes" "Did you ..................." yes.yes.yes.yes. "Well it sounds like there is a problem" "I know" "You can send it to us and as long as everything checks out, which it sounds like it does we should be able to fix it and send it back to you." "Thank you"

My exsperiance with each company so far.. Micro has helped but like pain said.. It takes a lot to get through the call. I'm curious to see how well it goes for you.

Nintendo's customer service is great, but they definitely charge you to fix shit.

Never been charged yet will and they have given me lots of free stuff for any trouble I've had.. even talked to other who have had the same experiance. In fact last week someone who ordered one of the game cases from club nintendo got one that was all cracked called me telling me they called nintendo on it and weren't even questioned even though they offered to send it back and send pictures. Nintendo told them not to worry and sent them a replacement 3 days later...

Yeah, i'm pretty sure it's not like that in all cases and warrenties and such but I've yet to face that...

on the same note though a little more work I haven't had any problems with Micro either. But everyone has different experiances. Hopefully Meta has good luck!

I called yesterday and was redirected to the help website I've already tried. The least I did was reactivate me account, but I still can't get into it. I'll try some more things

I managed to work things out. Problem solved
