| I'm thinking of the set below but not possible currently with my talismen. I'm expecting to have aset without any weapon slot require though. Making all element hammers isnt that bad or should I just stick to one?

| May I suggest instead of making a thread to ask a question, could you perhaps post such things in the
Monster Hunter Ultimate QA Thread
It keeps the forum a little cleaner regarding the layout and helps us staff find threads easier instead of sifting through the threads
Thanks, Law.

| Stick to Grongigas Hammer pretty much. You want some combination of this skills:
Awaken Sharpness+1 Bombardier HGE/Earplugs
In Tri I used Focus on hammers a lot, but found it useless on 3U. The only skill which I need on hammers these days is Evasion+1 (cause it enables me to roll through roars and evade more attacks easily) but it's just me. It just suits hammer playstyle very well for me. On certain monsters HGE is a must though, like Alatreon etc. I wouldn't waste slot with KO King. You simply can't KO monster more than 3-4 times in quest due to it low amount of HP (especially on multi monsters quests). The only exceptions are super monster quests. On average you end up getting 2 KO's either way, with or without KO King.

| I believe it has 'medium' grade earplugs, in that it blocks most roars, but not a select few like G-Ceadeus and Diablos among a few others. | |

| Midnight Aeternum with full Dire Miralis gemmed for Crit Eye +3 is an excellent set.
Rock Steady Crit Eye +3 Latent Power +1 AuL (requires Expert +9 or 10 tali)
If you're using an expert +9 tali you won't be able to gem out Short Sprinter. However, this set requires a weapon slot, which Midnight Aeternum has.

i have a expert 10 talismen so it shouldn't be a problem. I dont understand how latent power works though.

| Latent Power activates when certain requirements are met (taking a certain amount of damage or having the quest go on for a certain amount of time for example).
Rusted Fragments are easy. Long Fragments, however, are a pain in the ass. I spammed the kelbi horn quest to cycle the days until boats decided to upgrade to 4 stars and sent the them to the 4 star treasure location. Just cycle the days until they come back and pray for a long fragment. I think there is a better way that requires resetting before the boats come back, but I don't know the details of that method.
