| I am posting this in its own post since its been a big topic as of late. Capcom US has confirmed that MH3U will have ALLLLLLL EVENT QUEST! And will have reskins of all the weapons and armors Japan got. Basically we will have our own and they will have theirs... Here is the quote from: ---------------------------- Andrew (Reno) Capcom US 26 minutes ago by Andrew (Reno) Yuri asked me to drop in, so here I am! I can't say with 100% accuracy because I'm at home right now and I don't have access to my work stuff, but you guys will be getting all of the exclusive JPN stuff, albeit reskinned or renamed. Off the top of my head the Phantom Uragaan quest is back, and you're getting the hungry Deviljho quest too. The weapons and Shakalaka masks that were made in collaboration with other companies are being remodeled and reskinned so you're going to get exclusive stuff not found in the JPN version. I'll try to post more info when I'm in the office on Monday! ----------------------------------- So there you have it. It will still be a while before we see what it looks like but overall, GREAT NEWS! Oh... Forgot to mention unless I'm mistaken the phantom Uragan quest wasn't in the 3G version so it was added back in just for the west... But I'll have to double check on that. | |

| All I need now is my World Eater- Hungry Deviljho and they will have just about everything I would want in this game. Man, they've just been on a roll with this game! | |

| Andrew got back on the Event weapons, All the event weapons and armors from Tri (Fan Made ones) Sinister Saints, Lions Bane, Ect are still in MH3U as replacements for the same weapons they were replacing in Tri. All other Tri even weapons should remain the same as well, new Japan event weapons have been reskinned and renamed but everything else about them in forging and so on (other than ticket names ect.) will remain the same. All event quests are also still in the game but with new titles for the west. So basically EVERYTHING is there 100% confirmed from tri with all the new stuff just retitled and with a makeover from the Japanease counterpart.. Basically same as usual. They unfortunately do not have pictures for the western event stuff yet.. | |

| I am assuming all the event weapons and armor used for product placement and advertisement correct? Since some equipment didn't change on tri if I remember correctly | |

That should be correct. The dirrect quote from Andrew is: ___________________________________________________________________ Andrew (Reno)
From what I can see all of the collaborative event quests are in the game, just with different names. The special items you get also get makeovers. This also means any weapon and armor set you can forge with these drops have also been redone.
We did the translations and naming for these over on our side but i do know the fan made ones (Sinister Saints, Lions Bane, ect) are still in the game.___________________________________________________________________ I'm trying to see if they have any pictures of the reskinned weapons, but it's likely they wont post anything on those until closer to the release date. As they do with most MH games.. But I'm sure we'll get a few teasers.

| Here's some more information about event quests:
Most end game bosses, such as G-Rank Alatreon, are download (or event) quests.

| Nope. But I think Alatreon High Rank is a normal non-download quest. | |

| Quote from ICEMANnoob:
The normal one is High Rank, the event one is G Rank. Most end game bosses are download quests which is stupid.

| Alatreon is a 9 star village quest, Guran Mirasue is the one you have to beat in the urgent 7 quest to unlock HR8. Here is a link to the wikia for the quests lists. http://monsterhunter.wikia.com/wiki/Monster_Hunter_3_UltimateCrystal Jhen sub and a few others don't unlock until certain HR ranks once you obtain the 8star high rank or other prerequisite. Other than that yea, you would have to get them through download quests I believe. He may have been thinking this.. | |
