Not quite. It's a hammer that restores your hp when you hit teammates with it.

^ Correct. Though it does do damage to monsters.. it's basically the ultimate support weapon.. You get that a great set of Wide Range armor and you become an instant Paladin.... Granted one that whakes your team mates...

Also it has the highest base damage of all hammers in the game, possibly all weapons since hammers are known for having the highest base weapon damage of all weapon types.

Basically 4 hunters with crazy D's will be fun to watch.

Still it only having white sharpness means other hammers will be slightly ahead of it and the amount healed is actually very small

Which is good, it wouldn't be any fun hitting teamates for the amount healed from an herb or pot. It's just really cool that something like this is in the game now. Bowgunners had recov shots, now hammer has heal :P

Sounds like the perfect hammer since i do happen to be in the way of a finished charged hammer smack down almost 99% of the time.
