So me and my friend have duoed like everything in the MH universe except for the lucent naragcuga and the abysal lagiacrus. (We just havent gotten around to it) But OH MY GOD this zinogre is insane, we both have full silver rathalos (g rank) and fully upgrades Dios weapons me greatsword, him switch axe. we demon drugged and armor skinned and all that and HOLY CRAP. We focused on his tail for 90% of the fight and we didnt even cut it off, we were at it till the 10 minute left mark, which at that time we were both out of ALL healing supply's. This Zinogre is outrageous.

Logic just doesn't come naturally for some people.

But it does seem that the people who hate the Kelbi Bow hate it just because it's good. It's not cheating, because there are always speedruns out there that are faster than people doing it with the Kelbi Bow, and they aren't using the Kelbi Bow. As far as I know, nobody seems to call those cheating.

Believe it or not, the Kelbi Bow takes just as much talent to fully utilize as any other bow out there. And talent is the main addition to any armor set and weapon. Without talent, the armor and weapons are junk. And without talent, a Great Jaggi wouldn't even be killed within the 50 minute quest time, even with G rank gear. And that's what they want, right? Longer quests...

So after all that. I've come to the conclusion that talent is cheating. ;)

It's using the full potential of the skills and weapons we are given. Hop off the Kelbi Bow bandwagon and stop sucking. And like Antari said, the Kelbi Bow was nerfed so don't worry about it in MH4U.

With Lucent Narga HBG and CE+3, Pierce up, Challenger+2, you can easily kill G rank Plessy in seconds. And you can do it solo, without status support. 3 Plessy adv quests are so easy with it. I used to help other players who struggle with Plessy. With 2p using this set it's just few seconds of shooting, with 4, it's overkill. Kelbi bow? Doesn't stand a chance.

God's Archipelago is another example. With this gun in hand I feel really OP. You can sleep/trap/para/KO/para/trap pretty much everything. Especially on multi-monsters quests. Kelbi bow? Please...

And yet, the Kelbi Bow got nerfed so badly anyway. It's sad.
