| So basically I want to make a Honed blade set that if possible can get the following:
Honed Blade Focus Crit Draw
I already managed to easily just get Focus but I have no clue how to work in Crit Draw. Basically I'm pairing this up with the Cera Cymmetry GS to do maximium damage in a single hit.
Any advice or help?
Atm I'm using an Edgemaster 3 charm from charm table 10, but I can farm up other stuff if needed.

| This set is only possible with charms:
+5 Crit Draw, +3 Edgemaster (T4) +4 Crit Draw, +3 Edgemaster (T4 and T14) +5 Crit Draw, +2 Edgemaster (T4)
Besides... it's totally not worth it. You can get better results with Adren sets and they're really easy to make in every table.
Also imho Cera is not worth it in 3U. I tested it for a really long time and unfortunately again Jho GS looks like better raw GS thanks to better sharpness and no negative affinity.

Although I think the Cera looks allot cooler. And that counts for something, right? I assume you used Athena's Armor Set Simulator to find out that that set is only possible with the charms you just listed? Because I've noticed that my armor set simulator doesn't always find every possible combonation, and I'm not sure why. I've made sure I'm doing everything correct, do there shouldn't be any reason it doesn't appear. One set I know it doesn't find is this set: http://mhag.info/mhtrig/viewset.htm?s=Unnamed%20Set%20:%20G.G.H.289.0.C.293.1.78.A.286.0.W.282.1.18.L.292.2.77.77.Y.1.1.36.4.1.51It won't find it when I use that talisman, and the charm table I search for sets with has multiples of that exact talisman. So I wonder how often it doesn't find results for certain talismans when it should...

| Do you have the latest version of A.S.S? Maybe that's the problem?
Hovever, there's definitely some problem with Grand Yamato/Yamato Prime line in A.S.S for MH3U. I remember struggling to find one GS set with simple Handicraft+5 tali. I was surprised when I saw it possible ingame.

| Then what sets using Honed Blade and Focus at least are possible? Or minus that, just Honed Blade with other skills? I'm looking to maximize my damage in a single swing btw, not for extended fights (just going with a 1 hit stagger gimmick essentially...think GS timing videos / GOTCHA BITCH video). As well as Greatsword set in general. | |

Here is a fairly easy Honed Blade and Focus set you can make: http://mhag.info/mhtrig/viewset.htm?s=Unnamed%20Set%20:%20G.B.H.242.1.56.C.294.1.28.A.287.1.29.W.283.0.L.245.2.28.28.Y.0.1.119.2.0 Hmm, interesting. What is the point of Stam Recovery Up though? Greatsword doesn't really use Stamina. Evasion I usually do adore but it's a Greatsword, it's capable of blocking. I mean it's definitely better that what I'm using at the moment so I'll probably make it just because I'd get 4 skills instead of just 2 but it's a real headscratcher as to those choices.

I guess it's for faster monsters, that way you can roll a lot more often but still keep your weapon out.

It's actually more for Longswords and Dual Swords, but since you were just asking for Honed Blade and Focus I thought I'd post it. Here is a set if you have an Edgemaster +2, one slot talisman: - Spoiler:
You can also get that same set with an Edgemaster +2 talisman with a one slot weapon. There is also a variant that uses an Edgemaster +3, one slot weapon. And some that use different Edgemaster + Fastcharge talismans.

| My only edgemaster charm is a +3 Edgemaster and like +5 sharpness, no sockets. | |
