Thought this would be cool to do that also helps provide a little personal flair for each member. Follow the process, and post results!

Imagine yourself as a monster! What kind of monster are you like? Classification? No elder dragons please, that's boring and you're boring. Where do you live? All that generic stuff.
STEP TWO
Now that an annoying-ass hunter is coming, what's your fighting style like? Imagine how you fight, and you can translate these into armor skills! Just look at other armors in relation to those monsters if you're having difficulty seeing the connections. Please keep in mind they're supposed to be actual armor sets, so while it's cool if you have good skills, don't go wicked overboard and go all Honed Blade, Edge Lore, Arcana, Critical God and stuff with no negatives and 15 slots.

Name: Ramangeus Class: Brute Wyvern
Area: Forest and Desert locations
Color Scheme: Primary: Tan Accent: Forest Green Detail: Graphite colored, stone-like shards in two rows down the back from head to tail tip. Also lining the outside of the arms and legs.
Description: A somewhat agile, watchful brute wyvern that has a habit of studying it's prey before striking. Can roll around the ground leaving it's shards in the ground which it re-grows eventually. The shards cause bleeding status but can be broken. Has a very Raptor-esque design though more along line classic raptors and not scientifically accurate ones. Slightly smaller than Barroth but more built like Brachydios. Unlike most brute wyverns which charge heavily, this monster not only mixes in punches and claw swipes but also kicks and will pounce regularly. When enraged the shards on it's body jut out further. While enraged it will some times do front or back flips, shooting out shards in random directions when doing so.
Signature Attack: Pouncing hunters and then whipping them on to it's back, sticking them followed by a 1-3 rolls on the ground before flinging them off.

Monster Name: Borealis
Type: Temnoceran
Colors: Earth Tones, Moss Variations depending on resting areas. Habitat: Deserts, Forests and Plains Details: Has a crystal gem on its back that it strikes with its front legs to cause a flash to immobilize prey which didn't fall on its traps. During night-time, the gem gleams, and creates scenes similar to the aurora borealis, by which it earned it's name.
Description: Ambush predator. Rests for days/weeks until it completely resembles the area surrounding it due to moss growth. When prey happens close by, it uses a net made out of web to ensnare, paralyze and consume the prey that can be many times bigger than it. It also lays down pitfall style traps in the areas it inhabits. It mainly hunts at night and the only tell-tail sign would be it's glowing multiple eyes and the gem on its thorax which it cleans several times a day. It has a fondness for hunting dragon and has developed a resistance to dragon attacks.
Signature Attack: Able to randomly setup traps in the area. When pray is snared, quickly jumps on for a pin attack that inflicts paralysis upon termination.

Color Scheme: Primary: Black Accent: Purple Detail: Dark metallic body, reflecting the area around the wyvern, often giving it an orange glow. It's wings and head are both razor sharp, making them shine silver.
Description: A large, thin, sleek wyvern. It is not a very agile monster, but can fly up to extreme speeds, creating high wind pressure whenever it flies. Both wings can be broken, and in doing so, will result in a much less forceful wind blast. Breaking the wings also causes it to slow down while flying. This monster is capable shooting beams of slime/blast towards it's target, which it can detonate at any time. The slime will also explode automatically if it's not detonated within a couple seconds. This monster has a habit of using physical attacks that are fast and straight. Due to it's wings being razors, some of it's attacks will inflict Bleed. The attacks typically include flying just above the ground, giving it even greater speed.
Signature Attack: Flies high into the air, immediately turns around, folds it's wings in, and dives. Shooting a beam of slime towards it's target which it detonates right before it lands/slams into the ground.

Color Scheme: Primary: Black Accent: Purple Detail: Tigrex-like body shape, but slimmer with a shorter tail and limbs. Large circular ear-like structures on top of it's head. Red claws tip it's feet and the wing membrane is teal in colour, as are the inside of the ears. A mane of white fur covers it's neck.
Description: A small, slim wyvern renowned for stunning prey with sonic blasts from it's large "ears". Primarily hunts at night using echolocation, but has good vision for day time hunting. Vulnerable to sonic bombs, but will enrage after use and be immune whilst raging. Primarily attacks from a low hover with no wind pressure due to it's small size. It's Tail can be removed and the "ears" can break. The mane breaks via mounting.
Signature Attack: A sudden sonic blast, followed by a high speed aerial charge.

Description: A sleek monkey with long arms and legs. It is a intelligent tool-user that will actively wield a branch as a weapon and throw rocks at targets from a distance. It moves around very quickly and strikes quick and consecutive rather than striking hard. It's main forms of attacks are with the branch rather than with it's body. The branch can be broken and will be discarded and replaced if that occurs but this does not credit towards damage against it. Face, tail and back can be broken. It doesn't use any elements in it's attack except terrain based chunks as projectiles (i.e ice chunks in tundra).
Signature move: "guard break" A two-strike attack where it will target a hunter and stand on it's hind legs and briefly put the branch behind it's back before making a large horizontal cut that can't be blocked followed by a vertical strike. If it successfully breaks a guarding hunter they will not be sent flying but rather stunned forcing them to be hit by the second strike.

Detail: Club like tail. A large jaw, excellent for crunching objects and for digging.
Description: A ferocious beast, very territorial. Using its tail, it can shatter boulders, which it then uses the broken chunks for combat. Its powerful jaws make pitfall traps useless. When enraged, its tail slams are a force to be reckoned with. Proceed with caution.
Signature move: A tail slam with a tremor ability. If it shatters nearby boulders, it can bite onto the chunks of rock and throw them in a pellet shot like fashion. If enraged, it can create chunks of rubble to use even without boulders around.
Territory: Volcanic regions, mountainous regions.

Description: Early Game Monster: Venus Flytrap-shapen monster. Technically a plant, but carnivorous, and capable of killing smaller wyvern. They are blind, but can track prey by feeling vibrations in the ground. Can't locate hunters who are standing still. Periodically attracts Giant Dragonphage Bugs (Similar to Giant Thunderbugs, but Dragon Element), which can go after hunters, especially stationary Gunners. Changes zones by burrowing. The head can be broken. Immune to Pitfall Traps. They commonly show up on Unstable quests.
Habitat: Any area, except the Volcano and Thundra.
Signature Move: Burrow underground, and burst up under the hunter, pinning him.
Late Game Monster: Looks like a flowering tree infested by a spiky leaved Venus Flytrap plant, with the main head hanging from the branches. The main head has a 4-pieced mouth, and a large flower around the base of the head. The vine-wrapped tree is stationary, and highly resistant to damage, while the Flytrap is airborn and very weak to damage. Always accompanied by the smaller, ground-based flytrap and numerous Giant Dragonphage Bugs. The Flytrap can spit blobs of nectar at the hunter, giving him a status that makes Giant Dragonphage Bugs attack them for a while. Whenever the small Flytrap is slain, the large Flytrap falls to the ground, stunned for an extended period of time. Another Flytrap will spawn when it recovers. You can climb the tree, so that you can do jumping attacks. The flower around the head and vines wrapped around the base of the tree can be broken. Periodically drops shinies, which are the tree's flowers (It is the only way to get them. The Flytrap's flower is different). If the hunter tries picking it up while the ground-based Flytrap is alive, it will immediately burrow and use its pin attack, before the pick-up animation can finish.
Habitat: Tower Base, or a Jungle-themed Arena (It is an Arena-style fight, due to the monster being stationary)
Signature Moves: Creates a cloud of pollen in the Flytrap's mouth, attracting Giant Dragonphage Bugs. Then, it spits them at the hunters, like a machine gun.
Armor: Jungle-themed tribal-looking armor, made of plants. The helmet is a large flower. Fire: -15 Water: +10 Thunder: +5 Ice: -15 Dragon: +15 Slots: 0, 2, 1, 2, 1 Skills: (FreeElement +8), Dragon Atk +2, Trap Master, Capture Master, Heat Surge, Cold Surge
Weapons: Dormant Dragon element. Look like tribal weapons. Bowguns have a large amount of Dragon Shot per clip, with Rapid/Crouching Fire for Dragon Element.

Name: Oirumu

Species: Frog Wyvern
Location: Volcano, Heaven’s Mount, Frozen Seaway
Description: A Frog Wyvern with a body structure similar to Zamtrios but with bigger legs. He (I?) he has a large drill like horn on his head and many big teeth that he uses to crush rocks. His body is covered with shells that have a texture similar to concrete. His underbody is soft compared to his shell and is covered in colored pimples that can explode when enraged. He has 4 fingers on his legs and a rounded tail with a tube form at the end. His more prominent feature are two large black spikes protruding out of his back that have different properties depending on the area he’s currently in.
He can be found mainly on mountains but sometimes can appear at cold areas. He feeds mainly on rocks and ore but may also hunts for herbivores. During most of the day this monster is eating something: ore, other monsters, sometimes even plants. The rest of the time he’s usually sleeping or wandering around the area. He competes against other big depredators on the area like Rathalos or Zinogre but will avoid fights when possible. Depending on the situation this monster might fight a bigger threat like Deviljho or Rajang but only if its on his favor, otherwise he’ll stay away.
Fighting the Oirumu
The Oirumu will always begin with a sharp roar. Similar to other Frog wyverns he’ll jump around to move though he’ll resort to charging using his horn most of the time. He can attack with his claws or make a breath attack. This is where the area he’s currently in comes into play. Normally his breath attack will be only wind, but if he has eaten something recently his breath will change.
Ore: His breath will be a fire one (volcano or mount) or a Ice one (seaway) Prey: His breath will be wind like but can throw hunters far away Plants: His breath will change depending on what kind of plant he consumed and can cause either poison, stink or slime. Said effects are of the weakest kind available
When enraged he will use his hands and take one of the huge spikes on his back and do the following
1. Use it against hunters as a club 2. Throw it far away 3. Eat it
If Oirumu eats the spike he’ll use a oil/tar like breath that causes slime and reduces fire resistance on hunters. He’ll be able to use this breath until either he eats something different or he enters the tired status. He can eat both of his spikes in higher ranks to do even more damage. Said spikes will eventually regenerate after the Oirumu eats anything and some time passes. The pimple like stuff on the Oirumu underbelly can explode and cause slime when the Oirumu does a belly drop. This only happens when he’s enraged.
When tired the shell of the monster will turn into a purplish color and his underbelly will look deflated. He’ll eat what’s closest to him but as a priority he’ll look for ore. Depending on the area can also eat the ground to restore some of his stamina.
When almost dead he’ll sleep at area 9 (Volcano) area 7 (Mount) or area 4 (Seaway)
If he’s encountered as a frenzied monster his wind breath will cause frenzy. His appearance will remain mostly similar except the spikes on his back which will turn deep purple as to show the frenzy.

Weapons
The Oirumu has a Long Sword, Great Sword, Insect Glaive, Charge Blade, Gunlance and Heavy Bowgun. Most of his weapons have the slime ailment except the Great Sword which has fire element.
Long Sword: looks like a long construction metal bar covered in black oil. When at rank G the black oil has purple details. As the spirit combo is made the sword takes a stronger redish look.
Great Sword: Looks like the spikes on the Oirumu’s back. When Charged the sword opens up and looks bigger.
Glaive: Looks like a construction bar covered in oil on the top and has a redish ballon on the low end. The initial kinsect has a cockroach design.
Charge Blade: The blade looks like a chainsaw covered in oil and the shield like a metal roof with a rough finish.
Gunlance: The lance looks like the Oirumu tail and the shield has a design similar to its underbelly
H.Bowgun: The gun looks like the Oirumu’s head. With the cannon attached it adds his horn and with the shield attached it adds the back spikes.

Appearance Name and Title: Raguan, Forest Phantom Classification: Flying Wyvern (Pseudowyvern) Habitat: Misty Peaks, Flooded Forest, Old Swamp, Everwood Appearance: Standard pseudowyvern frame, but long and slender, with an appearance comparable to a cat. Furry, soft hide. Dark grey-green coloration to blend in with the environment. Large, black and shiny claws, longerr-than-usual forearms and legs for a pseudowyvern, but no wings. Walks on all fours all the time. Behaviour: Peaceful unless attacked, generally. Omnivorous, but prefers meat, generally from small monsters.
Combat Style Peaceful unless attacked by a large monster or a hunter, making iit a non-threat on gathering missions - unless Frenzied. When/if attacked, it'll enrage off the bat, but exhausts quite easily afterwards. It'll flee quite often too, annoyingly. In actual combat, it will rely on its particularly sharp claws to attack, as well as hipchecks. Uniquely, it'll mostly use sweeping attacks with its forearms. It also has a habit of emulating other monsters it can come across in its environment, including (but not limited to) its own version of Zinogre's flips, Tigrex's spinning attacks, and Gore Magala's wing-sweeps, as well as occasionally imitating Hunters' attack patterns. Mostly moves using sidesteps and dashes, but can jump and stick to walls and ceilings, and will sometimes wall-jump off nearby walls at you, like Hunters sometimes do, and even pin you doing so. When mounted, it struggles like Tigrex does. If there is another large monster in the area, it will either prioritize the other large monster or flee the first chance it gets. Resistant to status effects in general.
Armor Skills: Nimbleness, Status Res, Mounting Master, +4 Evade Dist, Short Sprinter (-13 points), Raise Hunger (-12 points), Health -10 (-12 points) Resistances: Fire: 0; Water: +5; Thunder: 0; Ice: -20; Dragon: +20 Slots: 2-3-1-1-1 Appearance: Camo suit! Also, loads and loads of pouches for Gunners. Weapons General characteristics are maxed out sharpness, white sharpness (purple if upgraded), good attack, and awakens to multiple different elements once upgraded. The weapons' appearance, naming and hidden element emulates those of different monsters, although using a color scheme and details more like Nargacuga's.

Signature move: A tail slam with a tremor ability. If it shatters nearby boulders, it can bite onto the chunks of rock and throw them in a pellet shot like fashion. If enraged, it can create chunks of rubble to use even without boulders around.

My idea is similar to the Seltas/Seltas Queen relationship. One weak, early game monster, and one strong, late game monster that work as a pair. The weak monster is actually part of the strong monster. Both are weak to Fire and Ice and immune to Dragon.
Name: (Undecided)
Description: Early Game Monster: Venus Flytrap-shapen monster. Technically a plant, but carnivorous, and capable of killing smaller wyvern. They are blind, but can track prey by feeling vibrations in the ground. Can't locate hunters who are standing still. Periodically attracts Giant Dragonphage Bugs (Similar to Giant Thunderbugs, but Dragon Element), which can go after hunters, especially stationary Gunners. Changes zones by burrowing. The head can be broken. Immune to Pitfall Traps. They commonly show up on Unstable quests.
Habitat: Any area, except the Volcano and Thundra.
Signature Move: Burrow underground, and burst up under the hunter, pinning him.
Late Game Monster: Looks like a flowering tree infested by a spiky leaved Venus Flytrap plant, with the main head hanging from the branches. The main head has a 4-pieced mouth, and a large flower around the base of the head. The vine-wrapped tree is stationary, and highly resistant to damage, while the Flytrap is airborn and very weak to damage. Always accompanied by the smaller, ground-based flytrap and numerous Giant Dragonphage Bugs. The Flytrap can spit blobs of nectar at the hunter, giving him a status that makes Giant Dragonphage Bugs attack them for a while. Whenever the small Flytrap is slain, the large Flytrap falls to the ground, stunned for an extended period of time. Another Flytrap will spawn when it recovers. You can climb the tree, so that you can do jumping attacks. The flower around the head and vines wrapped around the base of the tree can be broken. Periodically drops shinies, which are the tree's flowers (It is the only way to get them. The Flytrap's flower is different). If the hunter tries picking it up while the ground-based Flytrap is alive, it will immediately burrow and use its pin attack, before the pick-up animation can finish.
Habitat: Tower Base, or a Jungle-themed Arena (It is an Arena-style fight, due to the monster being stationary)
Signature Moves: Creates a cloud of pollen in the Flytrap's mouth, attracting Giant Dragonphage Bugs. Then, it spits them at the hunters, like a machine gun.
Armor: Jungle-themed tribal-looking armor, made of plants. The helmet is a large flower. Fire: -15 Water: +10 Thunder: +5 Ice: -15 Dragon: +15 Slots: 0, 2, 1, 2, 1 Skills: (FreeElement +8), Dragon Atk +2, Trap Master, Capture Master, Heat Surge, Cold Surge
Weapons: Dormant Dragon element. Look like tribal weapons. Bowguns have a large amount of Dragon Shot per clip, with Rapid/Crouching Fire for Dragon Element.

Species: Frog Wyvern
Location: Volcano, Heaven’s Mount, Frozen Seaway
Description: A Frog Wyvern with a body structure similar to Zamtrios but with bigger legs. He (I?) he has a large drill like horn on his head and many big teeth that he uses to crush rocks. His body is covered with shells that have a texture similar to concrete. His underbody is soft compared to his shell and is covered in colored pimples that can explode when enraged. He has 4 fingers on his legs and a rounded tail with a tube form at the end. His more prominent feature are two large black spikes protruding out of his back that have different properties depending on the area he’s currently in.
He can be found mainly on mountains but sometimes can appear at cold areas. He feeds mainly on rocks and ore but may also hunts for herbivores. During most of the day this monster is eating something: ore, other monsters, sometimes even plants. The rest of the time he’s usually sleeping or wandering around the area. He competes against other big depredators on the area like Rathalos or Zinogre but will avoid fights when possible. Depending on the situation this monster might fight a bigger threat like Deviljho or Rajang but only if its on his favor, otherwise he’ll stay away.
Fighting the Oirumu
The Oirumu will always begin with a sharp roar. Similar to other Frog wyverns he’ll jump around to move though he’ll resort to charging using his horn most of the time. He can attack with his claws or make a breath attack. This is where the area he’s currently in comes into play. Normally his breath attack will be only wind, but if he has eaten something recently his breath will change.
Ore: His breath will be a fire one (volcano or mount) or a Ice one (seaway) Prey: His breath will be wind like but can throw hunters far away Plants: His breath will change depending on what kind of plant he consumed and can cause either poison, stink or slime. Said effects are of the weakest kind available
When enraged he will use his hands and take one of the huge spikes on his back and do the following
1. Use it against hunters as a club 2. Throw it far away 3. Eat it
If Oirumu eats the spike he’ll use a oil/tar like breath that causes slime and reduces fire resistance on hunters. He’ll be able to use this breath until either he eats something different or he enters the tired status. He can eat both of his spikes in higher ranks to do even more damage. Said spikes will eventually regenerate after the Oirumu eats anything and some time passes. The pimple like stuff on the Oirumu underbelly can explode and cause slime when the Oirumu does a belly drop. This only happens when he’s enraged.
When tired the shell of the monster will turn into a purplish color and his underbelly will look deflated. He’ll eat what’s closest to him but as a priority he’ll look for ore. Depending on the area can also eat the ground to restore some of his stamina.
When almost dead he’ll sleep at area 9 (Volcano) area 7 (Mount) or area 4 (Seaway)
If he’s encountered as a frenzied monster his wind breath will cause frenzy. His appearance will remain mostly similar except the spikes on his back which will turn deep purple as to show the frenzy.

Armor The armor in total has 8 slots with 3 slots on his head piece and 2 on the chest, the remaining parts only have one slot.

Weapons
The Oirumu has a Long Sword, Great Sword, Insect Glaive, Charge Blade, Gunlance and Heavy Bowgun. Most of his weapons have the slime ailment except the Great Sword which has fire element.
Long Sword: looks like a long construction metal bar covered in black oil. When at rank G the black oil has purple details. As the spirit combo is made the sword takes a stronger redish look.
Great Sword: Looks like the spikes on the Oirumu’s back. When Charged the sword opens up and looks bigger.
Glaive: Looks like a construction bar covered in oil on the top and has a redish ballon on the low end. The initial kinsect has a cockroach design.
Charge Blade: The blade looks like a chainsaw covered in oil and the shield like a metal roof with a rough finish.
Gunlance: The lance looks like the Oirumu tail and the shield has a design similar to its underbelly
H.Bowgun: The gun looks like the Oirumu’s head. With the cannon attached it adds his horn and with the shield attached it adds the back spikes.

Appearance Name and Title: Raguan, Forest Phantom Classification: Flying Wyvern (Pseudowyvern) Habitat: Misty Peaks, Flooded Forest, Old Swamp, Everwood Appearance: Standard pseudowyvern frame, but long and slender, with an appearance comparable to a cat. Furry, soft hide. Dark grey-green coloration to blend in with the environment. Large, black and shiny claws, longerr-than-usual forearms and legs for a pseudowyvern, but no wings. Walks on all fours all the time. Behaviour: Peaceful unless attacked, generally. Omnivorous, but prefers meat, generally from small monsters.
Combat Style Peaceful unless attacked by a large monster or a hunter, making iit a non-threat on gathering missions - unless Frenzied. When/if attacked, it'll enrage off the bat, but exhausts quite easily afterwards. It'll flee quite often too, annoyingly. In actual combat, it will rely on its particularly sharp claws to attack, as well as hipchecks. Uniquely, it'll mostly use sweeping attacks with its forearms. It also has a habit of emulating other monsters it can come across in its environment, including (but not limited to) its own version of Zinogre's flips, Tigrex's spinning attacks, and Gore Magala's wing-sweeps, as well as occasionally imitating Hunters' attack patterns. Mostly moves using sidesteps and dashes, but can jump and stick to walls and ceilings, and will sometimes wall-jump off nearby walls at you, like Hunters sometimes do, and even pin you doing so. When mounted, it struggles like Tigrex does. If there is another large monster in the area, it will either prioritize the other large monster or flee the first chance it gets. Resistant to status effects in general.
Armor Skills: Nimbleness, Status Res, Mounting Master, +4 Evade Dist, Short Sprinter (-13 points), Raise Hunger (-12 points), Health -10 (-12 points) Resistances: Fire: 0; Water: +5; Thunder: 0; Ice: -20; Dragon: +20 Slots: 2-3-1-1-1 Appearance: Camo suit! Also, loads and loads of pouches for Gunners. Weapons General characteristics are maxed out sharpness, white sharpness (purple if upgraded), good attack, and awakens to multiple different elements once upgraded. The weapons' appearance, naming and hidden element emulates those of different monsters, although using a color scheme and details more like Nargacuga's.

Created this for fun about a month ago.
Umiodos: A powerful land and sea wyvern; featuring midnight blue scales, razor sharp bladewings, axetail, long razorclaws, webbed feet, a vertical line of small fins on his back, and incredibly hard armored joints. The Umiodos on land has a charge move like most large monsters, but he remedies the weakness of having no horizontal coverage by executing an axetail circular slash before finishing with a bladewing slash. Whenever his opponents are too close, he can spin around to hit them with his tail, but when enraged, he can charge up a circular slash with his axetail to violently knock away hunters. This move leaves a window of opportunity to block or evade. Special Abilities: The Umiodos can shroud his body with dark blue water armor that looks akin to murky blackness in the deep ocean. He can charge up incredible power inside his body and release an enormous water cannon powerful enough to destroy stone easily. He can fly into the air, and shower the battlefield with multiple water fin projectiles which is his counter to Gunners. Abyssblight: Lowers running speed, reduces stamina rapidly, increases damage received from water element attacks.
