Looking for Iron Ores during two-star MH1 village

I am looking for Iron Ores for the Hunter's Armor set.

I currently have five, and I need fourteen for the full set.

As I said in my topic title, I am in the two-star Village quests.

I know they are in areas 6 and 11 of the Forest and Hills, but the game is so unwilling to give any.
