What am I supposed to do to beat The Write Stuff?

I am stuck on the seven-star Village quest "The Write Stuff."

It is the one where you hunt a Jade Barroth and a Gigginox.

I wield/wear:

A full set of Barroth S Armor (AuM, DuS, Raise Hunger), gemmed for Negate Poison to protect from Gigginox's poison attacks, and I fight with a pair of Brother Blazes (Dual Sword, sliver of blue sharpness, 238 ATK, 140 Fire.)

The problem I have is that they keep triple-carting me.

The only other seven-star quest I still have not finished is Rumble in the Great Desert, but I would like to defeat The Write Stuff first.

If there are no decent strategies that I have not thought of yet, I will accept the name of the game's designer...

Gigginox would be the one of the two I would remotely struggle with tbh.
Jade Barroth is pretty much the same as normal barroth except that he can turn around while charging. So as long as you don't struggle with/know how to handle a normal barroth he shouldn't be any concerns. But in case you don't - Try to stand beneath him as much as possible as most of his attacks can't hit you there.
Gigginox is really all about not standing in front of him, ever. Whenever he does any lunges towards you, you should be able to roll between his body and wingtip(read base of his arms/wings) if you time it right and then just keep going for his hindlegs.

I would really try to get rid of that Raise Hunger skill tho because Dual Blade is really dependant on stamina. So unless you use dash juice for every hunt, get rid of it. Also consider getting an armor with evasion+1 and/or evade distance.

As for why they are triple carting you, I can't really answer since you haven't really described what kills you in the first place. If it's tough simply because they are in the same area a lot -use dung bombs. If you struggle regardless, consider changing armor set and/or weapon class.

I just beat them!

The secret I figured out is to keep them apart. Do not let them gang up on you.

(I'd be fight J. Barry, and Nox would show up, complicating it, or vice versa.)

I got lucky this time - they never met in the same area, but I do know how to properly use Dung Bombs to chase away.

Now, the only seven star quest I still have left is Rumble in the Great Desert.
