Hayyy everyone! I thought id write some more stuff for all of you to no, if you dont no already.

For those of you who think the only way of completing a quest is to kill your way through it, your far from a good hunter! There are two ways of completing a quest, one is obviously killing a monster and the other is capturing it. There are two quest types (not including gathering quests) there is a slaying quest and a hunting quest. The only way a slaying quest can be completed is by slaying a monster while a hunting quest can be finished by killing it or capturing it (whatever IT is).

Now capturing a monster...
Capturing a monster requires three things (well two if you dont really need the third): A shock or pitfall trap, at least two tranq bombs and a brain to figure out when its the right time to capture a monster. We will use a monster known to almost every hunter, that is, a Gaiadrome. Now when attacking a Gaiadrome the monster will weaken, once weakened enough it should move to a different area, follow it to that area and then put your trap where you will think it will jump or run to. Once it is trapped throw two tranq bombs and the beast will fall to sleep with an Objective complete. I cant seem to remember how to make tranq bombs cause I made heaps and never made anymore again but a traptool can be bought a any shop and then combined with a genprey fang (or i think it was a claw) to make a shock trap or combined with a net to make a pitfall trap.

Benifits
Well you get rarer materials and more materials at the end of a quest!

Good Hunting!

Hey man no need to rag on the poor guy, there are people out there, believe it or not, who do not know how to capture creatures. Although it explains it in the game, some people just skip over it. So to OP good job.

I can sum it capturing with less word

Capping = more rewards and 2 capture rewards (3 with tramq expert)

1. Weaken monster
2. Get monster in trap
3.PROFIT!!!!!!!!!!!
4. Level 3 gs charge
5. Throw 2 tranqs
6. MOAR PROFIT!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOT!!!!!!!!

And FYI voting against someone in a non mh3rd gen topic means they don't lose/gain hr
