PostPokemon B&W

So It has been a while since I actually played a Pokemon (main series game) Mostly because very little of anything new has been offered since around the 2nd or 3rd generation other than more pokemon. B&W however is changing that... A lot!

The world is no longer the flat top down world that it has been for so long. You now have a very viberant and popping out 3d landscape... Well as 3d as you can get outside of the 3DS. The battles have also changed with the introduction of Multie pokemon and trainer battles. You can battle with up to 3 pokemon and conect with of to 3 other trainers at one time to battle.... But there is more. On a regular DS lite you can voice chat, with a DSi modle you gan voice chat and video chat with other trainers. The 3DS has also been stated to give additional functions that you can only get through the 3DS, though what those are are beeing kept secreat until the 3ds release.

But wait there is more!!! You can now use your home comuter to interact with your pokemon as well and download in game skins to you ds to change the looks of your pokedex and other items. Also added is the ability to dress up your pokemon and put on a show and a new dream world ability where you can find special items and grow berries and decorate your own pokemone home.....

That's still not the end of it! Depending on which game you get will also determin what your world looks like. Black will have a modern/futuristic feel to it with towering cities while White with have a natural world and lots of trees...

So my question is what is everyones thoughts and what game will you get?

This is the first Pokemon game I have really been excited about in a long time....

(Don't you hate it when you type something big and accidentally refresh or exit?)
I got Black on Monday on so far I'm loving it. C-Gear, reusable TMs, Scraggy, 5 HMs that you hardly ever use, Triple Battles, the list goes on. The only thing about it that I hate is Castelia City's stupid repetitive music.
So after three gyms I have
Level 25 Pignite (Wilbur)
Level 23 Simisage (Ford)
Level 24 Musharna
Level 24 Drilbur (Resetti)
Level 17 Scraggy [just caught, gonna Exp Share it till it catches up]

And a big hearty facepalm @ LTU for using Legendaries during the main game.

Lastly,
Spoiler:
Hell yeah. I love and have loved Scraggy and Scrafty since they were released. Doesn't get much more awesome than that....
(except for the fact that they're based off of 'gangstahs')

Oh, and my FC is 3568-0909-7534. PM me yours and I might add you XP
Not like I need with RANDOM WI-FI BATTLES WOOP WOOP.
Lol my writing today is horrible. I haven't posted in so long >_>

Evilpwner, i suggest you drop Musharna. It's a good Pokèmon indeed, but it doesn't learn any more moves when it evolves. If you want a psychic type i suggest you an Elgyem or a Gothita/Solosis.
Currently i am confused if train Golurk or Tynamo.

The trick is to train your Munna until it gets the moves you want for Musharna, then evolve it.

^ good advice for almost al pokemon though. Some of the more powerful moves can only be learned by high level lower evolution pokemon. if they are evolved berfore the moves are learned you may not be able to get the better moves at all.

Since you are talking about Munna i will use it as an example.

At level 47 Munna will learn "Stored power" which can do a massive amount of damage. However if Munna is evolved to Musharana before level 47 it will not be able to learn it and at all.

But wont it have lower stats the longer you level a child pokemon?

Well thats the thing. It will be weaker than the evolved form at the same level however, and here's the big thing, once you do evolve it a child pokemon you evolve at say level 50 will end up being much stronger than one you evolve at level 20. so ultimately (for most pokemon not all) waiting to evolve it will give you a stronger pokemon with better attacks. It will cap out at higher stats the longer you wait in some cases.... now if you do 2 of the oposite sex like that than breed them the egg you get and the baby that comes from it will surpass the others you have by almost double or something like that... but anyways..

ultimately deciding when to evolve is up to the trainer as some pokemon may benifit from early evolution while others are better off with later evolutions. Munna, IMO, is better to evolve after it's last learned move at lvl 47.

I always thought it didn't matter what level you evolved stuff at, its max stats were always the same.
Either way, none of Munna's moves really interest me. A bunch of them are TMs, a bunch of them aren't that good, and the only ones that might be worth it are awfully high level. I mean come on, level 47 for Stored Power? And I don't see the potential in it either. In the time it takes you to boost your stats to increase its power, wouldn't you have been better off just using Psychic?
And it's not like Musharna is going to be the main part of my team, I will likely add and remove members here and there.
Lastly, I'm probably just gonna give Mushy some really trololol moveset to piss off my friends (Attract, Thunder Wave and Torment, or som'in' like that :P)

It's the first of two I ever EV trained because all the numbers were perfect. I also wanted to see how high the Attack stat could get since Haxorus' is ridiculously high.

I EV train my pokemon, I don't see what's bad about it. If you want to have the upper hand in a battle you should take advantage of as many mechanics as possible..
