OOH! I've just come up with a good comeback to Nova's first response.
Ahem... "A-ba-cha-wah? Me? Playing as a CHILD?! That is SO unrealistic! This entirely keeps me from enjoying the game! I mean really! It's not like children in real life can achieve ANYTHING adults can. They (logically) are entirely inferior to adults!"
I saw some screenshots of kh3ds and it looked like it was sora as a kid again so i doubt its a direct sequel, but the final cut scene of kh re: coded implies a direct sequel will be here. Mickey stated that the door to sora's next journey was ready to be opened.
To be honest I wouldn't have said anything if Nova didn't say what he did.
I just don't like Final Fantasy in general.
Sounds like an excuse to me.
Any ways, Ares. I think it will be a direct sequal. Not sure how they will do it over all but i exspect to see a whole lot in it. Square/enix is taking every advantage they can with the games they have coming out on the 3DS and showing off a whole host of new ideas..... Such a a final fantasy rhythem game... which i don't get... but anyways... I do think it will be in the main story line of KH.
I'm sorry but I don't care which made up gaming universe you come from. It's just not logical for kids to be wielding weapons in which they just suddenly get as a plot device and are able to best adults or some really powerful monster with. Then there's the issue of their lower stamina / strength due to their younger age, they aren't built nearly as fit as a typical hero adult who has way more stamina and health going for him or her.
I know it's silly to bring that kind of discussion / view to a video game but honestly it pisses me off every time I see a game have a child as the main hero / character. It's not logical or practical and it just looks stupid.
Yeah some little kid who got some "magical" weapon is just going to go around besting people who have discipline and trained hard to master the art of wielding weapons or magic...riiiight....
I want Riku as a playable character. I like how in KH2 you get to play him for a bit (I let Sora die while I goofed around with Riku nyahahahhaaa).
In Kh 358/2 days in mission mode Riku is a playable character, And I saw some screenshots of the 3ds version showing Riku and his health bar at the bottom. It looked like he was playable in Re: chain of memories but i hated that game so i never found out.

Yea but mission mode sux ;_;
That may be, but it was still cool to be him, and with the ultimate gear, he gets his his signature keyblade "Way to the Dawn".
