(JOKE) Release date..... stated.

Not what you exspect but this release date for the US is very believable.

so it looks like a MAY-JULY 2012 for us... not bad, im glad its comming to america at all. now, to get a 3ds...

Earlier this year Capcom announced that it was pretty much cutting all ties with nintendo. They then announced the cancelation or the Megaman 3DS game which they had in development for about a year and announced nearly complete along with cancelations of other games. After that they pretty much stopes all talks about anything nintendo. Lots of people were angry and cap received a lot of hate mail. So the announcement of not just one but 2 MH games exclusive to nintendo on the 3DS came as a huge surprise. So the comment in the article about the release date eludes to the fact that the MH games should make up for Megaman and the other games being canceled but the Capcom won't release the MH games until everyone gets over the cancelation of Megaman.

That's the thing. I don't care about Megaman so I'm ok, but other people WILL NOT get over it. And most Megaman fans don't even know about Monster Hunter.

"Dammit! MML3 is canceled! Wait what's this? Instead we're getting this other game. Monster Hunter Tri G? How are you supposed to say that? Pass..."

im kinda mad about this. im a huge fan of both series and i feel like this is another slap to the face. how the hell can even say that. MML3 and MHTG are 2 totally different games u cant even compare them to each other. im not saying the MML series is better than the MH series theyre totally different i dont perfer one over the other cause i play them both for different reasons for different experiences. for those who just favor MH and MML alone yes they probally wont care, but for those who favor both this is downright horse shit. if the games were similar in genre i can understand why they would want the fans to let it go cause they would end up with a similar experience. nothing is gonna make up for MML3 the series is unfinshed and we waited ten years for it then they fucking cancelled the game when it was nearly done and coming along well and then they have the nerve to blame it on fans when Inafune himself said that the cancellation was do to the fact that he is leaving capcom to form his on independent company(article here http://ds.ign.com/articles/119/1195061p1.html ). that statement was low but this company never seems to surprise me bringing up MML3 again was a bad move on their part its just gonna piss off the fans again. i pray it was a joke and that MHTG still gets localized.

this also piss me off. Specially since Capcom not only cancelled the game and made all of us mad with them, they even lost Keiji Ifamune who was important to the company. Now Capcom says that the name of Megaman and etc are their property and that Keiji can't touch them because of some lame "contract". So they lost 3 things: Keiji, Fans and Megaman. They won't be able to undo what they have done, MH is only to restore ties with Nintendo since them probably didn't have planned to have all this (hate mails and the nintendo getting famous and important again). Im happy of having 2 MH games on the 3DS, but this will not change what they have done.

yea ur right I did get all ranty. I honestly thought it wasn't a joke at first. Still I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Capcom said this. My apologies still I hope we hear some news on a official release date soon.

I do hope Capcom is aware and understands how deep in the shit they are.

I'm sure the third of the people who still follow Capcom are all wary that it isn't even coming over here for some dumb ass financial reason.

In which case, they can expect a good few... what... hundred thousand people all wielding various MH weapon replicas and Megaman blasters at their Wily HQ fortress gates.

I'm personally working on a megaman/monster hunter hybrid weapon. A greatsword that charges and fires off the level four charge from megaman x. Screw pitchforks and torches, let's get high tech.

TBH I don't really care for megaman legends 3. All I care about now is how nice those shadows look in tri g.

Yep, they're no longer big black circles. All thanks to dynamic lighting

^ All thanks to the 3DS.. Capcom said the Tech in the 3Ds was the first system to really allow them to add the lighting effect like it is and other effects like better myst effects and clouds that help with the lighting and shadows. Cant wait to see how well it works.... If we get it.

the 3d makes it, umm, different than HD. You really have to play a game in not 3d then 3d to understand. the difference with the 3d slider even ona little is quite noticeable in the picture quality. But what i was refering to above was that the 3DS actually has its own chip sets for lighting effects and another for just myst, fog and haze effects. Something not really done the way the 3DS is doing it before. This is what allows them to have the dynamic shadowing.

I do notice that 3rd games look a lot sharper in 3d.
