| Worst... what is the worst... Ah ha!
Me and a pretty good random were killing some Lagiacrus for materials. We got through the quest 4/4 times without neither of us dying. Another hunter came in. He had pretty good equipment and a LS. so we let him join. We went on our quest. He had LS and the good random had Hammer. The new randie went for the head, making it difficult for the Hammer randie to actually hit the lagi and get a KO. I asked him to stop going for the head and to hit somewhere else. He sais yes to that. I said that I've got the tail, but then the randie started hitting the tail of the Lagi. Then he just started spamming spirit combos onto the tail. I didn't even get to hit the damn lagi. >.<

LAGI+ IS BETTER!!!!!!!!!!), Uragaan+, Helios+, Escadora (LAWL it got gud def), and damascus. 9. Hammering without sharp+1 or Hge. 10. Lancing without evade or guard skills. 11. Constant pinging. 12. Double Carting. 13. Forgetting hot/cool drinks. 14. Hiding behind traps. 15. Blocking with a lance 16. Awaken on a weapon with element 17. Those retards wearing parts of escadora/vangis to show how "pro" they are instead of wearing a full set
any one of these signs is proof a room will fail Don't teach me how to play get a life noob!!!! =) and a few of this are (in my opinion)a little exagerated it can happen to forget cold/hot drink!!if im not playing for a while and do not have much time to play I will go with what I have(doing it on ala is something else of course) and hey it's not so easy to dodge a diablos from underground so let me parry if I want to(lance) and personally I agree it's perfect with lance but agna is usable on s&s as well ah and the one I didn't understand...the one about the skills,what are they?

Played with a LVL 231, he died 3 times on twin Flames because he thought using S&S was a good idea regardless of having no experience with it. How has he not used as S&S when he's LVL 234???
Got my full ranger armour so I'm happy regardless of the waves of multi-nubs being thrown at me... now just need 3 HKC, I predict more arena shenanigans ahead.

An sns in the right hands can mean total destruction. I know the S&S is beast, however in the wrong hands as I witnessed things can go dramatically wrong. I would have thought that most people test weapons offline before going onto servers if they're unsure rather than risk total rubbish playing, I know that's what I do.

Lucas is right though, unless he is so lucky that he got Elder Dragon Blood offline and the Rusted Hammer and somehow make the Lava Core Hammer, he can't prove it to you. | Jhen Mohran Jhen Mohran Jhen Mohran. How I hate the idiocy you attract. The two WORST times in Tri were both when I was doing Rumble in the Great Desert. First time, there's this guy, and he decides to hunt with his girlfriend. Naturally, I'm okay with it. I don't really want to be a party pooper. Thing is, while the guy is wearing OFed Rathalos Armor, the girl isn't. That said, I spend whole quests babying her. I kept having to take in components for armorskins so that she wouldn't die. I didn't want to leave despite my better judgement because that could be taken offensively. So yeah. I was doing this to make a full set of Jhen+ Gunner, and I could only do the quest one time because the event quests were refreshing, and I went in with that couple and some other guy.... twenty nine minutes later, the girl managed to successfully cart twice, but that wouldn't matter in a few moments, because Jhen would leave. She then used the gong, and tried to carve from Jhen's mouth, but he ended up trampling and she carted. Quest Failed, and a lesson learned. Second time, some guy came in before the quest and looked at my Great Inceadeus. He called me an idiot for using it. I explained the whole damned damage formula thing to him, and he just called me a noob and left. Really. I've been using switch axes the whole game. Even before Barroth. Do you think I wouldn't know which axes go where!

- Spoiler:
lol jhen brings the worst players ever.
Most of the time, people question my actions when fighting jhen, like when I hit the gong early for people to get extra ballista gathering (because I'm so generous)... However, countless "dumbs" kept calling me an idiot for using the gong early and said "use it for when he runs into the boat" Even though you can easily use the binder for that....
Rumble in the great desert tends to bring the most idiotic (ahem... um, skill challenged) people. Many from the start of high rank (no high rank armor at all) with weak weapons (surprisingly un-upgraded low rank weapons! Example: Thunder clap instead of thunder clap+).... Now, don't get me wrong, they should be completely capable of repelling the jhen... but they JUST DON'T GET IT! They take absolutely NOTHING they've learned from their first jhen hunt (3 star urgent... the one they have to do to even get to high rank!). Not only that.... They'll rush out to jhen, die, and do it again! Why they do it is beyond me.
And don't get me started with the "elitests" that try to do this quest.... Coming in with their alatreon gear, saying that it's the best because it has the highest defense. And the best part is, they do the EXACT same thing the new high rankers do. They die, come back and do the same thing that caused them to die in the first place!
It makes it very difficult to even find a nice jhen room without someone screwing things up...
Oh well, on to my story :D Not too long ago, I came across a young hunter who, at a glance, seemed to know what he was doing. It was a high 40+ city made specifically for rathalos. He had agnaktor armor, a thunder lance, and the quest at the ready (quest being double trouble). At first I thought to myself: "This is going to go ok", and with the addition of two extra people at rank 200+ (a much higher rank than mine at the time) I thought that we were sure to win.... Then I took a glance at the agnaktor lancer. His armor was standard agnaktor, un-upgraded... and his weapon was a standard lagiacrus lance. The first one to question his armor choice was the good player of the team (a longsword using player), and he asked why his armor wasn't upgraded. The lancer's response was that he didn't need to... and that he was fine because he had a lot of fire resistance. (he completely ignored the fact that he had guard +2... a damn awesome lance skill) The longsworder then said "lol ok" "just don't die.... This apparently struck a nerve in the lancer because he started to curse at the good player, telling him that he's being suicidal for not having fire resistant armor, and how the Long sword can't block attacks. Then a long discussion between the two players about why the LS user didn't need fire res or fire retardant armor, and it ended with the lancer telling the LS guy to F off and shut up and play... Well I had los overgrade armor at the time, and I needed some los materials for my hammer that I wanted to upgrade... And I was using a longsword too which was thunder clap R, and the silent member of the team used a switch axe. The hunt began with the lancer spawned right in front of rathian. He then gave a signal and yelled, "Come here!!!" We then proceeded to gather at his position, and just before we even got there.... He got killed by a rathian tail flip. (He was poisoned before he died) After he arrived at camp, he blamed lag for his death and rushed out to us fighting the rathian. Me and the other longsword user were swinging at ian for a while, but then the lancer came in charging like crazy, knocking everyone around. The LS user then told him to stop lance charging because he was knocking everyone around. The lancer again told the guy to F off... A few seconds later, the lancer then told us all to cut off the tail... and a few seconds after that he started yelling, "TAIL TAIL TAIL!!!". shortly after that outburst the little lancer was hit by rathians tail again and died. We then proceeded to kill the rathian, preventing los and ian from fighting in the same place. After we killed rathian, the lancer immediately asked for the status of the tail, and after we replied that we didn't cut the tail off (mainly due to the lance charging...) he called us noobs. The switch axe man disconnects, and that day... I wish I had disconnected too. Rathalos decided to air camp like a jerk and the lancer charged his way to los, knocking me away from the fire ball that was about to strike me.... However, that very fire ball hit the lance user instead, causing him to die in one hit. Then the remaining hunters returned to the city. The lancer was baffled as to why he had died at the end, and then accused us of hacking to get him killed. Then I decided to not keep my mouth shut and explained to him that his armor was un-upgraded and that resulted in all three of his deaths. Lance man then yells at me for using a longsword, calling it a terrible weapon because it sucked, and how if everyone had his weapon we all would have won... The LS man sent a message to me saying that I did fine, and that my LS was fine. Eventually the LS user left the city, and the lancer started to say that he was a jerk and that he sucked because of stupid reasons. Then he goes and calls me a noob because I was one rank below him and that I didn't know shit.... He then goes and says that he was better than the other guy because he had another profile that was higher than everyone else's in the city.... Then I told him that he could have been guarding with the lance instead of charging around.. But he ignored me and said that I don't know what I was talking about and I told him that he had skill that helped him with the lance guarding... And he says: "Damn right I have skills, more skills than you'll ever have noob" He then leaves the city, never to be seen again. Ughh... The LS user that was in the city actually helped me out later on, and man was he good! Too bad he's never online anymore... ; - ;

| Oh my God, I totally emphasise I've had so many hunts where the designated idiot blames everyone but their-self for their own stupidity. Calling everyone a "noob" I always the last straw, at which point I PM all the other hunters and we all go to another city. These idiots are the paramount of annoying-ness on Tri.
Another breed of hunter that pisses me off is the kind which believe the hunt revolves around them. They boss everyone around to do particular things so they can get some specific reward, they never thank anyone for the help, and they go offline as soon as they got what they need... ungrateful pricks...

No, the 'Skilled Player Only' tag means nothings. Noobs usually flock/made it because either one of two reasons: 1.) there's someone they can leech from or 2.) they overestimate themselves (I kid you not. The time I met player with Zero Skill-Rainbow Pimp Gear and GS-Combo-Spammer players in 'Skilled Player Only' cities are too many to count) That's why I avoid any city tagged that unless I am asked to.
