Sounds like an amazing set, though havent yet tried it. The pierce up is my own personal preference, as I use it for virtually every monster I gun (plesioth, lao, etc...). Without that skill, a much more evasive set could likely be made. This is just a bit more balanced between power and speed.

Would be amazing alongside a ceanataur based bow as well

Traded the pierce s up for evade+2 as well as a much higher base defence...

it seems to me that normal lvl 2 and 3 does more damage that pierce in this game which seems weird..... i could be wrong but i beat monster much faster and with less bullets using normal

On a lot of monsters, especially plesioth and lao (and definitely gravios...), its hard/impossible to hit their weak spot with normal shots, though plesioth is a bit easier.

Not to mention pierce hits multiple times... its a lot less useful on smaller monsters though. You could easily see what i mean with the hp hack haha. pierce s 3 does roughly 100 hp damage vs an ash lao (though i have a g rank bowgun... which is a ladybug...) whereas normal only does around 30-50 per shot. normal does more per hit, but pierce hits more AND makes it actually possible to hit the lao's ranged weak spot.

Speaking of that lao... 26666 hp i got it down below 5000 hp in one quest though! too bad the dang thing didnt carry the damage over /versad/ . the hp hack is a blessing and a curse.
